I have him as a first rounder outside the lotto. It's nice that he did well on the combine, but doesn't really change my opinion of him. Seems like a game manager to me still.

^that's exactly what he is. i don't think anyone tried to advertise him as something different. he's 100% a pure floor general. i still like him, and while there is a lower ceiling and a very wide gap between his floor and ceiling given his lack of elite physical tools, i'm banking on his bball iq and his ability to shift gears to keep him in this league.

Yeah if Orlando doesn't take him at 12, I definitely can see him falling to 20+. I just don't see him as a great prospect. As a Cuse fan, I'll be rooting for him, but I just don't see it. Below average finisher, below average shooter, below average defender, and just an alright passer in my opinion (compared to other NBA PGs). If he returned to school, I think he'd fall into being a 2nd round prospect.

i'm not a fan of ennis i will fully admit i see him as a low end starter, or a backup PG and i hope the magic do not pick him in the top 12.

Just remember all of you were doubting a certain prospect out of Syracuse last year who had some questions..... And Ennis can score when he needs to.

I'm one of those guys. But the only difference now is that I think MCW will be good enough to be a bench player in the NBA. So while him being terrible isn't true, he's not worth a lotto pick in my opinion.

Combine numbers are always a nice way to analyze players But the game tape always tells the real story.

He seems like a natural fit for Sacramento at #8. They desperately need a future at point guard.

ennis would be a huge reach in the top 10. he's not that talented. if a team like sac wants him they could get more value out of that pick by trading back.

Though as a Cuse fan, I personally wouldn't take Ennis in the top 20, so I guess being a Cuse fan doesn't necessarily mean you're biased lol.

I don't know about that. Thomas had a great year. He may be better suited as a 6th man though, so Ennis could make sense hypothetically.

i think the kid is/will be a solid pro PG. A guy that won't lose you games at that position but if you have an opportunity to upgrade the then do it. He looks like a longevity solid starter/backup guy in the league.

I also think he's in a perfect situation timing wise with this draft not being PG heavy talent wise. The gaps are so far at the moment between PGs that he's in an ideal situation if you want a guy that can play right now and give you solid minutes at that position.

Exum is obviously gonna be the 1st off the board but looking at the rest after him.

Payton who i think has the potential to eventually be the best of the rest if Exum pans out isn't necessarily a guy you can give the keys to from day one and be comfortable with to win now. He'd be the only real comp for Ennis to be that 2nd PG off the board I think.

The rest of the class like Napier, Burton, Kane, Clarkson, Christon, are either old or gunners.

Micic is another floor general like Ennis but the feeling is he doesn't translate as well as Tyler.

Tyler is in a good spot if a team wants to be "safe" and not take a chance with Payton.

i like micic more than ennis long-term. they have similar question marks regarding athleticism, but micic is bigger and is the more creative playmaker.

i'd rate him as the best PnR PG in this draft.
