Stephen Curry.

This is like asking: LeBron James or Evan Turner. One guy's awesome, the other guy's a scrub.

Your friend is a moron, no offense.

Dwill is closer to Raymond Felton than he is Steph Curry

Even though they both have ankle concerns, Deron is exiting his prime and currently is receiving surgery for both ankles. Curry is just entering his prime.

Ha yeah unless Deron williams returns to his 2010-2011 form I don't think too many NBA fans would take him over Steph Curry. Curry is a baller.

Even then, Curry now is better than Deron ever was.

Not for nothing Dwill's faults are absolutely blown up/enhanced to the public rather than Curry's..... Curry has some awful games but his lights out shooting literally overshadows it....

but yes, Curry over Dwill.

I'm actually now sold that franchising PGs is a waste... i use to believe thats the most important piece but no... i don't see it... put in any good pg to a franchise player....

Maybe. I would personally take Curry, but I can understand the argument for Deron. That's more of me being a fan of Curry than it is hating on Deron btw.

Either way, the only way it's even a discussion is if Deron was at peak form, and he's very clearly not. On top of that, he makes more money, he's older, and he's more injury-prone at this point. So the question is just ridiculous all-around.

We would have done a lot more than been a 43 win team and a 5 game 2nd round knock out if we had a PG that scored 24pts per with 8apg on 47%FG 42%3PT, that's for damn sure

Yep, no point arguing now when it's pointless. I hope next season we're able to return to some kind of positive debate with Deron, but that's just some slim hope.

Oh yes he does... Not saying its every game but he has had some bad games for a pg in terms of decision making, assignments etc... It never gets exploited or discussed because of his offense capability gets the press

Just like any other superstar, Curry's bad games are very few and far between. It doesn't make sense to focus on his bad games all that much, because he doesn't have a lot of them.

OTOH, bad games are the norm for Deron at this point. That's why they're focused on more with him.

Curry overall had his 2nd straight monster playoffs. Deron had his 2nd straight disappearing act in the playoffs.

This thread just needs to die. It's an embarrassing comparison.
