Vonleh looks really good in the scouting videos and highlight reals. If he has a good motor I would take him. While it is a small sample size he made almost 50% of his three pointers. Stretch four who can actually play defense and get rebounds. Ummm yes please. Favors and Vonleh could defensively switch on either big man and both do an above average job regardless if they were guarding the 4 or 5. I read he looked like Bosh and I highly agree with that. But he could end up actually being able to bang down low as well unlike Bosh now.

Then...

Package Kanter, 23, and another asset and get back in the lottery. Maybe Sacramento? Pick up Aaron, Lavine, Smart, etc.

Saric plays vs grown men. Professionally. And his overall basketball skills are much further ahead than Randle or Vonleh, as is his BBIQ. Does it mean he'll become the better player? No. But he is much more of a complete basketball player than Randle or Vonleh, who are more athletes at this point.

That's not true for everyone. Some of us seen him play quite a bit. There are other leagues out there except the NBA and NCAA.

No, quite the opposite. Stats in the NBA are much better than in Europe, due to the faster pace, 48 minute vs 40 minute games, and all the rules that favors offense and limit defense in the NBA, that aren't there in Europe.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Widely Projected Targets: Noah Vonleh, Julius Randle, Marcus Smart

The Dark Horse: Dario Saric, Croatia SF/PF (6'10")

The obvious targets for Utah at No. 5 are big names like Marcus Smart and Noah Vonleh. But instead of altering their backcourt or low-post setup, they may opt for a versatile forward.

The Jazz were the worst scoring team in the Western Conference in 2013-14, and a lack of playmaking prevented them from keeping opponents off balance. A multidimensional offensive weapon alongside Trey Burke and the bigs would add a new dynamic to the squad.

As mentioned in the video, Jody Genessy of The Deseret News believes Utah may turn the draft upside down with an unconventional choice:

"The Jazz have broadened their European (scouting) and their international scouting," said Genessy. "I could see them maybe surprising people and going with a Dario Saric or something like that with the No. 5 pick..."

Saric has been considered a late-lottery selection for most of the year, but considering how he played during Cibona's run to the Adriatic title, he may be one of the draft's brightest gems

Maybe your not paying attn but the Jazz brass has been paying alot of attn.

Ignorance is bliss. You can argue about prospects, but you can't argue about the math. IM is 100% correct regarding the stats.

I just hope we can take Saric and Smart, obviously need a trade but it can be done.
Ingles is cooked.
