Also, the dunks look pretty but how's he getting by his defender in the first place? Explosive as he is he doesn't have a very quick first step/crossover.

He was too weak. He has the same problem as Rubio where he can't finish over guys cause he has no upper body strength. He looks like hes put on a bit of muscle though.

Im pretty sure he had a late growth spurt in high school, he hasn't filled into his body yet.

Wiggins certainly isnt a complete player yet, but I think he has all the skills to be one, so I think I'd choose him over Parker, but I think Parker could be the more reliable player.

Wiggins certainly isnt a complete player yet, but I think he has all the skills to be one, so I think I'd choose him over Parker, but I think Parker could be the more reliable player.

That is true. He may very well meet exepectations, but if we were trading our franchise player I wouldn't want to take that chance. Maybe if Wiggins had a different personality I would lean towards him...

Parker wouldn't just be our go-to scorer...he would grow into our leader and face of the franchise. I recommend to anyone to just watch some videos of the guy. He's just an all around great human being.

I don't think Wiggins could fill that role. Putting the expectations of the franchise guy on a complimentary player almost never ends well.

I like the chances of Wiggins becoming Paul George better than I do Parker's of becoming Paul Pierce, but I'd be thrilled if either one were available to Minnesota.

The worst thing for me is that despite Wiggins' physical advantages he struggled mightily finishing around the rim. That's not something that'll get easier once you get into the NBA.

The saving grace for Wiggins imo is that he's a solid defender so you can put him on the court from day 1 and he won't be a liability on defense while he gets the experience, reps, playing time, etc to develop. The kid has way too much physical ability and talent to be that scared of picking him before Parker. When I'm picking top 3, I want the guy who has the most upside and long term potential to be a superstar.

It's hard for me to get excited about any of the SG's at 13 when I look at last year's SG crop and see the impact guys like KCP and Mclemore had.

I blame the teams (DET, SAC, CLE) more than i blame the players. These teams are black holes for young talents.

Btw i am excited only for Stauskas.
