Larry Bird was a power forward. He was too slow to guard SF's.

So when they started

Parish
McHale
Bird
Johnson
Ainge

Who played SF? Who was the one having the duel with Nique?

Mostly it was McHale guarding Nique but Nique guarded Bird.

McHale and Bird were both power forwards but one of them had to guard the small forward and that usually ended up being McHale guarding the small forwards because McHale defended small forwards better than Bird did. Bird guarded tree Rollins much of the time which allowed Bird to be a help defender which Bird was very good at. That had Parish guarding Willis who was a very good scorer.

It feels really strange to me that I left off names like Jerry West and Shaq but I think based on the criteria of the question this would be my all time All NBA teams.

Wow, Duncan on the first team but Jordan not?

I'm confused, Duncan and Jordan play different positions, so why would Jordan not making the first team have any affect on Duncan making it?
