It really seems like all those players will be there at 24, with the exception of maybe Hairston. If we take a guard with 9, it won't matter.

Frontrunners for 24 are Glenn Robinson III + DeAndre Daniels imo which makes me happy because I want MKG's minutes challenged.

What we need to do is draft guys at 24 and 45 to challenge guys who we were better without. Challenging Neal and Zeller should be priorities. A true backup SF would be nice too. Early could provide that.

Mitch McGary could challenge Zeller/McRoberts imo.

Challenge Zeller right off and McRoberts soon enough.

:noway: Early will be on the board at #24. Draft Express has him at #33 going to the Cavs which makes sense considering Deng will be UFA. With MKG and JT in the stable,Deng in Free Agency makes more sense for us.
We can do better at 24.. I am fairly high on Hairston, but truly believe Jarnell Stokes PF could really help us.
He would give us a post up player on second team ,when paired with Neal and Biz, total team point production /Rebounds would go up. Who knows he might get 20 mpg 15ppg 11rbi ,allowing AL to rest more. At 6'9" 263 Wingspan 7'1" ,he could learn allot from AL. :D

Dawkins is probably in the running for a second round pick to help with spacing and outside shooting. Highly doubt we use a first rounder on him.

Id love Dawkins at 45. No way in hell anyone drafts him in the first round.

No need to draft someone to challenge MKG's minutes. JT is that guy when he returns, and CDR also if he's brought back. So we dont need a SF more than we need a PF and a backup PG....after we draft a SG that is.

Andre Dawkins will be the undrafted free agent that we'll bring into summer league and training camp before cutting him because we have too many guards under contract. Ain't nobody wasting no pick on Dawkins.

Love, love, love Cleanthony Early; legit sf size, athletic freak, very good shooter and slasher. He lit up Kentucky for 31 while shooting the lights out and held James Young to 13 points. This guy is so under the radar, it's silly.

JT tore his ankle off and CDR should back up SG if he's brought back. If they draft a SG, I wouldn't spend the money on CDR.

I think we definitely need to draft a SF with starter potential. Kemba's backup PG won't get enough minutes to justify a draft pick, other than a mid-2nd, 3rd stringer.

I want to see video of Stauskas using his nasty step back jumper in workouts. His quick release makes it a thing of beauty.

Guys - as Fats said, this isn't a "who we should draft and why we should draft them" thread. It's a thread specific to workout schedules and work out notes of players.

There are a zillion other draft based threads to discuss the merits of the prospects you love or loathe.

Thanks.

I'm interested in seeing who Charlotte may bring in for a group workout with P.J. Hairston on June 4th (next Wednesday)

Any guesses on which candidates for #9 will "big time" us and not to workout for the team? It always seems like there's one or two.
