for those who can't read Italian: the issue is that his agent advised him to not sign for Roma...they were not playing in Europe and he could get more money elsewhere. As he signed anyway, he was told by Sabatini that if he proves his worth and Roma win the league or make Champions League, he would receive a good contract. However, his salary was hardly increased when Roma just offered him an extension.

Considering the season he had, he has every right to be upset. Pjanic just received a nice exten$ion too...seems weird they wouldn't do it to Benatia also.

yeah the saga continues. one thing that the new board has proven is that they really dont know how to handle issues like this. im sure after seeing pjanic get a raise benatia feels more than entitled to one as well. he just doesnt think the one that they offered him is fair, but on the plus side it looks like he still wants to be at roma, albeit making more money then they are currently offering, which could ultimately lead to his departure. its a cluster **** really.

it seems like barca are eyeing marcos now tho.

No kind of appreciation from AC Milan to Seedorf, who they will continue to pay till 2016 after firing him and replacing with Inzaghi. Inzaghi has only coached one of their youth teams for 2 years. It scares me how good Milan were a decade ago and how bad their decisions have made them in such a short amount of time.
