There are days when you hate his guts, but others where he'll catch fire and play like he's with the Spurs again. He does get Jamal-Crawford-hot every now and then and it's rather entertaining to watch... till he turns it over and watches players fly past his stationary self on the way to the rim.

Yup, he'll have games like this:

3.10 against Denver: 19 points, 7-9 fg, 3-3 3pt, 4 boards, 4 ast, 1 stl in 31 minutes
3.14 against Minn: 19 points, 6-10 fg, 3-3 3pt, 4 ast in 25 minutes
3.16 against Milwaukee: 18 points, 5-6 fg, 2-3 3pt, 2 board, 1 stl in 25 minutes

And then games like this:

3.24 against Houston: 0 points, 0-8 fg

I probably wouldn't do Lamb for 9, but I see a ton of potential in him.

Nope it was 9 straight up.

yeah i know, but would OKC consider trading Lamb for 24 + something else?

I wouldn't trade PJ Hairston (assuming we get him at 24) for Lamb straight up. Lamb seems to have confidence issues. Hairston doesn't and is a better shooter

Every player is confident until they get to the NBA.

Lamb is hyped up to be more than he is and more than he is likely to be but he would be a perfect fit here imo.

Lamb has had a couple nice steals, but overall looked eh in the first half. Barely hit the rim on one of his threes. Looks terrified.

Edit: Finally hit a wide open three. Was starting to feel sorry for him.

What value does the #9 have in case we trade it?

Some players I would like in the idea of a trade: Taj Gibson, Reggie Jackson, Al Horford, Gerald Green, Wesley Matthews just to name a few.

I never thought about Horford. His natural position is PF. Rather intriguing. I like Gibson alot as well.

I would love to have Horford. I'd probably pull the trigger on that one.

I'd only trade 9 for Horford out of that group. Hell, I'd trade Zeller, Hendo, 9, and 24 for Horford. I think all the others, could be had for a 24+Zeller package give or take a future pick

Atl fan, I come in peace.

Ok, #9 isn't getting Horford, no offense. BUT I'm curious what it would take to move from #15 up to #9?

Is Lou + 15 enough if we take back Hendo. I'm not sure how you value Hendo, I'm not a fan. Lou is expiring and gives you an extra ballhandler. If that's not enough, would adding Jenkins give enough value?

I'm not sure what the fit is here. Except maybe Schroeder, who is a big unknown, there aren't any players on Atlanta that would fit in this trade. Horford, Millsap, and Teague are too good for you to trade. Korver is too old/expensive for us and no one else is worth moving back for.

I do like Schroeder, but taking him would be gambling on potential and I don't think it's worth it.

i dont think any of us really thought #9 alone would get horford. would obviously take more than that. are the hawks even considering dealing horford? i have seen his name several times this summer mentioned in trade scenarios, which i found odd.

What would Henson cost us?

Defensive PF who can shoot some from the wings. I think he would fit well next to Al.

If Lou is back to pre-injury form I'd think about it. I'd rather keep Hendo in this deal just to have a decent defender at the 2 if needed though. I think I'd ultimately decline though.
