I don't think he has starter potential and I don't think he's big enough to play minutes alongside Lowry. Would rather not waste our first round pick on a guy that probably won't be better than Vasquez.

Looks like Javon McCrea is scheduled for a workout.

Statline like a beast, but again....a 6'8' big man

Stokes, McCrea, Lufile... they're definitely looking at beef in the paint. Maybe to replace Hansbrough or Hayes.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

I think Payton is going to climb up the draft, leaving Innis to us. Innis can back up Lowry, though not sure where that leaves us with Vasquez. I think there is a good chance Vince will come back to Toronto to back up Demar, so Inglis will be a great pick up to back up Ross. Bachynski is not on any mock drafts, but hey for the 59th pick, why not bring home a Canadian kid.

I always liked Stokes. Has a nose for the ball and although his post game isn't refined and smooth he still finds a way to get his buckets. He dominated Florida's front line by himself in the SEC tournament this year and 2 years ago dominated against Anthony Davis. Another prospect is Jordan McRae who also played at Tennessee. Can score from anywhere basically.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Obv hes out of our pick range, but jus watching this vid is entertaining...i can only think of one other guy in the league at his weight and hieght that could dribble the ball the way he does, his name is lebron

Not saying hes gunna be anything like lebron but this guy is going to one entertaining player, especially in transition

Yeah, Parker is best player in this draft for me. Nobody is near his level at his age in this years draft. I don't get why people say that in longterm other player will become better then him it's not like Parker is 23 years old, they guy is only 19 he has the capability to improve as anyone else in this draft
It should be
1. Parker
-gap-
2. others

So whois working out with Raptors??

BTW Can't wait for separate threads for each player. Gonna be so cool when the board is going to be divided  Last time I wanted Waiters or Lillard but we got Ross xD

Rise of Payton drops Ennis to Raps at 20. MU trades up to land Stokes. Board united.

What's the difference between Randle and Stokes? They're pretty much the same player.

:banghead: :banghead:

Randle is ZBO with elite athleticism and a very quick first step.

Theres a reason hes projected top 5 in most mock drafts.

Did you even watch college ball this year?

Both are elite rebounders, Stokes is a very good passer, Randle is a horrible passer. Randle has better post moves, but most of his moves (bullying) won't translate to the NBA. Stokes is a poor 1 on 1 defender in the post and below average help defender. Randle is a poor 1 on 1 defender in the post and a Bargnani or worse help defender. Value wise, slight edge to Stokes, but neither will be good in the NBA

You're leaving defense out of the equation.

Whois this guy - Jakarr Sampson ??? Has anyone seen him play? I see he was in Clippers workout. He definitely has the physical tools for SF, 6' 8.5" height; 7' 0" wingspan'; 5.8 body fat. I wonder how he did in that workout.

- He has broken shot
- Needs to bulk up
- Shows defensive potential
For as mixed as his prospects are on the offensive end of the floor, Sampson looks like he can develop into a formidable defender in time, while already showing intriguing potential as a freshman. His size, length and lateral quickness allow him to stay in front of perimeter players and, thanks to his size, he should have little trouble guarding NBA small forwards as long as he continues to get stronger.

Will likely go undrafted, summer league callup (him and Okaro White)

He probably won't be drafted. I checked him out a while back when one of the "experts" called him a sleeper and it's painfully obvious that he sucks. He can't make a jumper to save his life, and he can barely finish at the rim. His only chance is if he becomes an absolute lockdown defender, then he can carve out a niche like PJ Tucker or Tony Allen.
