I think Hibbert and Zeller have some secret bet to see who can fall down more.

I don't take Smart as the type of player that's a headcase and looney like Stephenson. Smart just can't shoot for sh*t and that's why I'm not really interested in drafting him.

Oddly enough, I like Smart as a prospect. You can never say that he doesn't give his all. He may be emotional, but I'll take that knowing that he will put every ounce of effort forward to improve his game.

Devil's advocate - he wouldn't have got playing time in Indy for the second season in a row and would have never broken out like he did in Phoenix just because of the lack of an opportunity.

Maybe Flip Saunders is rolling in bad candidate after bad candidate only to act like at the end there is no other option than him himself taking the coaching job supposedly unwillingly and having full control over the team such as SVG has in Detroit.

Remember how we reportedly received the most money this season out of the league's revenue sharing system? Well, Lowe mentioned in his latest column how much it exactly was:

Unlike most small-market teams, the Thunder are paying into the league’s new revenue-sharing system instead of receiving money. They paid about $4 million into the system last season, per several sources around the league, while bigger market teams such as Atlanta and Washington received cash. The Bobcats got $20 million, and the Grizzlies about $15 million. Every buck matters.

Not sure if these are news but I certainly don't remember seeing/hearing myself about the exact figure of 20 million.

I thought it was around 10 or so. 20 million is a lot of coin.

Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to buy Clippers for $2 billion

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-sn- ... story.html

"A person with knowledge of the negotiations said the Geffen group bid $1.6 billion and Ressler at $1.2 billion.

The sale price is almost four times the highest previous NBA franchise sale price -- the $550 million paid earlier this month for the Milwaukee Bucks. It is second only to the Dodgers 2012 sale for $2.1 billion as the highest price for any sports team in North America."

2 BILLION is absurd. MJ bought the Hornets for pennies. What a deal.

Just imagine what the Cowboys, Redskins, hell any NFL team would get right now.

Be ready for a long lockout during the next CBA negotiations as well. The players see what these franchises are going for and won't be duped into this "Were losing money" BS.

Steven Adams looks really solid. He's very active and athletic and a good passer. He plays the game right and he's hanging with Tim Duncan. He looks great on defense.

BrotherDave nailed that pick.

Know who is really happy with his investment right now after buying our team for a cool 275 mill?

I think a lot of it has to do with tv ratings, revenue off of that, etc.

And Lord knows that even with our tv situation being well improved we are still probably the worst team in the league as far as that goes.
