1. Cleveland - Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid - The Cavs have long needed a shot blocker down low. Plus, Embiid brings great athleticism for his position and an advanced offensive skillset even though he's only played bball since 2011. He has the highest potential in the draft and should make a huge difference for our team. eltercero
2. Milwaukee - Andrew Wiggins
MIL continues to rebuild by pairing Wiggins with Giannis as their Wings of the Future. With Giannis and Wiggins, MIL has the groundwork for a Great Defensive team that is devastating in transition. MrPerfect1
3. Philadelphia - Jabari Parker
Jabari Parker....Easy to build with a player like parker when you have Noel and MCW already and the #10 pick in the draft...Scoring in the halfcourt is imperative to win playoff games and he can do that in a multitude of ways... His ability to get to the free throw line is also an under-rated asset of his. FlightBrothers
4. Orlando - Dante Exum
Dante Exum - Magic can use a back court teammate to go along with Oladipo. Magic can also use a PF, so Randle is an option, but Exum seems to have the higher ceiling. Marcus Smart is also an option, but with his size and skill set, it seems redundant when the Magic already have Oladipo. Its unclear who will be PG for the Magic, but both Oladipo and Exum have PG skills and with a 6'5 and 6'6 back court, it would cause alot of miss matches in favor for the Magic. orlandomanic
5. Utah - Julius Randle
The fan base voted in a thread on the Utah board. Randle came out on top. Why? Wide body. Respectable size for position. Spin moves and developing post game, puts the ball on the floor and is explosive for his size, makes his free throws, developing his mid range jumper, very athletic for his build, already has a nose for rebounding, has good lateral quickness for his size which is important in a PnR league, improving passer out of double team, gave good interviews and just wants to improve as a basketball player, sounds like a guy willing to learn and train with Karl Malone. pickIBL
6. Boston - Noah Vonleh
The other 2 Boston fans said Smart. I would be happy with that as well. I just see Vonleh having a higher upside. Kid is 6 9 with a 7'3" wingspan. Tree trunk legs. Decent rebounder. He would be higher if he was more athletic but he has a great post game and is a good shooter at the FT line at 71% and can shoot it out to the 3 point line. BUT he also seems to be redundant being a kid who seems like he can average a double double, but Boston already has 2 young kids like that in Sullinger and Olynyk if they don't get traded. We will see. KGboss
7. LA Lakers - Aaron Gordon
Lakers would take Aaron Gordon, only 18 and is likely the best athlete in the draft with quickness comparable to point guards, which is very helpful in a league where the big ends up so often switching onto the guards on pick and rolls. If he can add a good off the ball game, some average post moves and improve on his free throw shooting he is a perennial all star with excellent defensive ability. DeBlazerRiddem
8. Sacramento - Marcus Smart
Marcus Smart...will do whatever it takes to win; Cousins needs a side kick. Big_Cat
9. Charlotte - Nik Stauskas
Not a Hornets fan but they absolutely should be picking Nik Stauskas at this point. Provides the shooting they lack, and an additional playmaker. Plus, they're a loaded defensive team, so they won't suffer too much by playing him while he learns team defense. Seems like a match made in heaven IMO. Notanoob
10. Philadelphia - Gary Harris. Sixers poster here. Tough pick IMO, but I'm going to assume Parker will be playing PF in the pros. So with the 10th pick, the Sixers select Gary Harris. I'm not one of Harris' big fans, but I like his fit. He can shoot & play defense, whether it's 1's or 2's. His potential isn't very high, but he's a good building block for the franchise. PK5
11. Denver - Zach Lavine
My reasoning is that the last thing Denver needs are more role players and low ceiling players, so I'm going for the most potential and I really believe that LaVine has All Star potential even if he will need a season or two before being able to contribute. eathb_au
12. Orlando- Doug McDermott
Orlando Magic take the 27th ranked offense and adds on a flat out scorer with Doug McDermott. Adding Doug McDermott gives the Magic a scorer that they are in desperate need of and at the same time spreading the floor with a PF that can hit 3's. papa_clipse
13. Minnesota - Walter Tavares
Timberwolves take Walter Tavares from Spain. Some may consider that a reach, but his international experience and 7'3' frame are too good a match to pass up. Plus he speaks Spanish so he and Rubio shall be homies. Devilzsidewalk
14. Phoenix - Dario Saric
Other than being BPA, his interior passing will really make a difference for us. cosmofizzo
15. Atlanta - Kyle Anderson
With the 15th pick the Hawks will draft Kyle Anderson. Saric, McDermott and Lavine were the targets, but with them gone Anderson is next. He's a bit soft and he needs to learn to play off the ball some in our offense, but we need another creator on the wing and at the SF spot he'll help a bit with the rebounding. Hopefully his defense can be coached up. He's a bit of a risk, but he gives us some rebounding, a wing creator, a third string PG and backup SF/PF. fuzzy1
16. Chicago - James Young
17. Boston - PJ Hairston
Reasons being: Hairston can be the offense off the bench behind a re-signed Avery Bradley. They need shooting in the worst way and Boston will have a hard time grabbing the A list shooters with this pick. He is also older and more experienced so should be able to contribute this year if a trade for Kevin Love happens this summer. 165bows
18. Phoenix - Adreian Payne
Suns look for Frye's eventual replacement, Payne is also ready to play a role. 1UPZ
19. Chicago - Jusuf Nurkic
draft and stash keeps some money free to throw in FA. bulls get an interior bruiser to balance out the thinly built bigs that they have. long term potential guy, possibly a starter down the road since joakim's no spring chicken anymore. can throw his weight around in the near term and provide some paint scoring, whenever he gets here. ManualRam
20. Toronto - Clint Capela
Raptors are taking Clint Capela if he's still on the board. We haven't had a big shot blocking big man since Marcus Camby back in the day and Capela projects to be a Serge Ibaka type. Dukenukem23
21. Oklahoma City - Rodney Hood
With the last of the picks received from the Harden trade. Thunder pick in Dallas' spot. Even though I think OKC goes big man stash with pick, Hood's 3 pt shooting is exactly what the Thunder need to even out that bench. Podirk
22. Memphis - Shabazz Napier
Chris Wallace is back in charge and he always scouts the local talent up here in New England. I had a hard time going over Ennis but Napier now has championship stock and definitely worth a 1st round pick. vanjulio
23. Utah - Glenn Robinson
Glenn Robinson - Jazz need SF help, and who better than a guy who's best play was with the current starting PG? DelaneyRudd
24. Charlotte - TJ Warren
Charlotte needs a backup point, but at this stage I think it'd be pretty hard to pass up TJ Warren. Pure scorer, I like him to spell MKG as well as spend some time at the 4. Would add a much-needed scoring punch to our bench. BlackOutBobcat
25. Houston - Tyler Ennis
Damian Lillard....0.9 seconds....three-pointer....elimination.... texasholdem
26. Miami - Mitch Mcgary
If there isnt a person to pick for the Heat, Mitch Mcgary. The Heat arent looking to take any projects this late, Mcgary is a skilled big who would fit in great right away. May be the best player available as well. The slide of Elfrid Payton continues. EMG518
27. Phoenix - Elfrid Payton
We need a back-up PG. Factor in that no one knows how this Dragic/Bledsoe situation will play out. Bledsoe is a FA that the Suns really want to re-sign and Dragic is a FA next season, so moving one of them is a strong possibility. I see Payton as a bit of a Bledsoe clone, which is a great thing. 19.3 PPG/6.3 RPG/5.8 APG is pretty damn close to Bledsoe numbers. Kerrsed
28. LA Clippers - Jarnell Stokes
29. Oklahoma City - Jordan Adams
If so with the 29th pick, the Thunder choose Jordan Adams, SG, UCLA. Adams would be a welcome addition of a solid shooting guard to the Thunder's rotation. bondom34
30. San Antonio - Damien Inglis
Typical Spurs pick, International, Very young and raw, but a lot of potential and great size, Could be stashed for a few years until he is ready to contribute. He is projected to be a 2nd round pick, but I could see SA making a promise to grab him in the 1st round (They've done it with many times). franktony
