I'm as intrigued by Lavine's potential as anybody but his defense should be every bit as concerning as McDermott's, if not more so.
LaVine will be a much better player than McDermott down the road, and since Clifford essentially will have his rotation set, why draft a win now player with a low ceiling, than draft a up and comer who could be a star? Makes no sense for a team who's talent ceiling is low
