It's redemption time.

Game 1 is Thursday.

The Spurs made one critical mistake last year when they started Ginobli with Leonard at the PF spot. That allows Miami to use their perimeter D to full effect. I'd much rather have Diaw in the game to at least force LeBron to stay on Diaw in the post.

Hopefully this time we can actually utilise splitter as well.
I remember he got dunked on and rejected at the rim either in the same game or consecutive games and just completely vanished after that.
I think our team is better than we were last year and I think OKC gave us a good tune up running into the finals.
I don't think Miami is as good as last year but then again they have demolished there way to the finals.

Both teams pretty much have the same time to rest and this year we have home court.

Stage is set for redemption. Can't wait for Game 1

Really hope Parker is 100%.

With both teams not changing much, I wonder if things will be different in terms of offensive and defensive schemes.

Personally, I'm not expecting much to change.

Defensively, we'll be seeing a lot of Kawhi and Diaw on Lebron. Green and Manu will be on Wade.

I don't think we'll see to much Splitter again. The Heat's aggresive perimeter defense forces us to spread the floor better and that means we need Diaw on the floor more than Splitter. And we'll be seeing a lot of Kawhi on Lebron as a Smallball PF. Splitter's minutes will likely come when Duncan is on the bench.

The Heat don't have Ibaka. By going smaller and spread the floor, our offense and passing will work better because they don't have that shotblocking.

I also hope Kawhi shows up again offensively. I'm really pleased with his offensive aggresiveness in the playoffs.

I too can't wait for game 1. This is revenge. Game 1 is the likeliest to steal, but game 1 will be ours.

I really appreciate what San Antonio is doing. I'm hoping they win, I'm tired of Miami being lucky, I believe San Antonio deserves it, they are such a great story, I'm kinda jealous at times...

Good luck SAS!
Good assessment:

In the same way the Mavs prepped us for Portland I think OKC did the same for us with Miami.
Westbrook>Wade, Ibaka>Bosh, Jackson>Allen, the advantage Miami has is Lebron on Durant (and that's not by much). Miami celebrated like crazy after winning the ECF, we on the other hand walked off the floor and half the team didn't even make it to the podium for the trophy. We are engaged. Let's get #5! I am hoping Timmy gets Finals MVP and puts himself in the arguement for top 5 player all time.

I'm afraid this is going to be Timmy's last series ever.

too much confidence will kill you quickly, make no mistake this will be a very hard series, very difficult to predict the winner, but i am a heat fan, so heat in six is my prediction
