Man, Tanguay is probably one of the biggest anti-Rondo journalists, or whatever he is, out there.

And here is the video of Rondo's interview at the workout today. He trolls the **** out of them.

Tanguay is a highly intelligent frog capable of imitating human speech (in a limited sense). He's still upset prince Rondo won't kiss him to make his human transformation permanent. I really hope he just hops the fk out of Boston personally. He should go join Donny in Brooklyn.

Hate that dude. Not seeing his face before games is a huge perk to living in Philly.

He wasn't even in the studio this year I don't believe. At least I don't remember ever seeing him

Yeah, Kyle Draper took over for Tanguay for pre and post duties.

Thank God.

Also, Tanguay was publicly shamed by the national media for flipping the F out a few months ago, which was outstanding. Made it to deadspin and Jimmy Fallon for being a complete loon.

This is getting OT, but wow, I hadn't seen that. Just watched the video. He lost his mind for a few minutes there.

Ok, I couldn't resist. Just came back from the GB thread. Hey, can one of the mods from the Celtics board lift my ban from the General Board? I need to get in on this.

Blame Rasho is probably in a corner somewhere, clutching his 2014 Atlantic Division Champions t-shirt like a blankie, sobbing quietly as he sucks his thumb.

Please RR, one at a time. I don't know how I'm handling all of this with KLove, and than he throws Melo in the mix. :/

Any link to rondo mentioning Melo ?

Nothing’s happened, nothing’s set in stone. We could talk about Kevin all day or we can insert Carmelo (Anthony’s) name in there all day. Nothing’s happened. We have a couple days left before the draft, things might shake up around that time. You never know. It’s still a long summer until the beginning of training camp.

It's nothing much, he's probably just trolling, but I'm too much excited not to read too much into it. :D

You have to think Rondo mentioning Melo is more than just a throw away line. He also eludes to the draft being basically when things will start to come into shape.

I'm thinking Danny has kept Rondo in the loop this offseason on his plans. The plan has to be to get Love and then Melo afterwards. We know that Melo has a lot of respect for Rondo and they'd love to play together.

You throw the three of them together and then the supporting cast will come together. There's always guys willing to come in for MLE or less money to have a chance to play with three stars.

My God....if Danny Ainge basically exchanges an aging Pierce and KG for Melo and Love the rest of the league will have no choice but to bow down, especially if Pierce can be convinced to come back on the cheap.

Insane.

The guys on PTI are pathetic.

"Why would Love want to go to one lottery team to another"
"The Celtics have zero assets"
"Unless Rondo is going to Minny, Love will not be a Celtic"

I swear, the guys ESPN hire make me chuckle.
Handsome.

Just finished watching the csnne video. Out all the names Rondo could have mentioned, it had to be Carmelo Anthony. Ha ha. Tell us what's really going on Rondo.

Wait - please tell me that's a joke?

Why would Love want to go to Boston? The C's have ZERO assets??

Jesus - PTI are just talking heads running their mouths to get attention.

Guys..you all need to calm down. We aren't beating the Thompson/Waiters/Bennett package....no really. Miami could with a Bosh/Wade package though.

"If", and that's a big "If", the Celtics find a way to trade for and convince Love/Anthony to stay here and play for the Celtics long-term, than I think a lot of anti-Rondo people around this town are going to look foolish for wanting to trade this guy and acting like he's not that good. Make no mistake, there's no way in hell Love and/or Anthony would be happy if they got traded to Boston if Rondo wasn't on this team. The guy is respected league-wide by current and former players and it means something to guys like Melo and Love that he would want to play with them. These guys wouldn't want to come here if Ainge told them Rondo was getting shipped out of town for the Lakers' #7 pick. No way. All stars in this legue know you need "3 stars" to win a title and they consider Rondo good enough to be one of those guys. Period.

I think I feel the same way about Rondo wanting to influence the direction that the team goes in as the T-Wolves fans feel about the prospects of Kevin Love leaving them....

Thats the bad and the ugly aspect of free agentcy....

As a fan, I want players who are loyal to their team.....and not just hired guns....

I hate free agency .......period....

If Rondo actually felt that way, I could easily say good by....good riddence...you know?

Just my two cents worth....

Every single player in the NBA is a hired gun.

Thats probably why I have trouble being a fan of any one of them....theres very little in the way of loyalty now...and even less class....just show me the money....hate it because there was a time when this sort of deal was secondary to the game itself.....not anymore....

Add Kobe Bryant to that list (which is, I have zero doubt, just the tip of the iceberg).

This kind of stuff is the real indicator as to how long you've been around these parts.

Do the terms "no layups, no easy baskets" or "I'll bench press your house, I'll eat your mortgage" mean anything to you?

I'MMA BLOCK YOUR CENTAAAH.

And man, irie, 'atrocious' is not the word!

Disagree, love the Antoine Walker welcome home song, but the best was "I'm mark blount and I'm fuuuuuunky!!!! Yo! Antoine! Get me some gun. 20 and 10..."

Wojo has tweeted this like an hour ago. There's a small clip on AmericasPregame twitter but he only talks about Derek Fisher.

Can anyone watch this?
