I'm feeling a 5-1 Twins win here. I think Garza will be OK against that lineup but Gibson vs. RH hitters is essentially unhittable. .575 OPS against RH batters.

Maybe someone can look it up but it seems as if they always kick our ass.

Eta they swept us all 4 last year but it's 11-11 since we moved to the NL. Twins lead all time series 230-215

They always do give us fits. Even the 2011 season despite being the vastly superior team.

Yeah, just looked 2011 up and we swept them here but lost two out of three in Minny.

In just 90 ab's this year though. Last year he had 88 ab's against righties with an OPS of .869.

Segura is wearing Kitten Mittens on the base paths.

Nice to see Garza get himself out of trouble when needed today.

Yeah, you're right, I saw that as well. Just thought last year was a bit of an aberration as he came back from TJ surgery. He's a good groundball/slider guy that I think will be good against righties most of his career. I still kinda stand by what I said, because until Scooter and Reynolds, nobody hit the ball hard at all.

Glad this one is going our way, though.

Its a shame the ump refuses to call that inside strike. Otherwise Garzas pitch count would be in much better shape and he'd be able to go longer than he will because he's really dealing today.

Will Smith is basically automatic at this point. It'll be ridiculous if he doesn't make the all-star team.

Need a shutout from Duffy. My god, Kansas City's single-happy offense sucks.

It might be a little early, but it is looking like the trade for Will Smith is working out for the Brewers. Will Smith is rocking and Aoki is hitting .261, respectable but not as hot as Smith.

Aoki was always overrated by fans because OMG, batting average! OMG leadoff hitter! OMG contact hitter!

Plouffe should have just gone to third. Oh well, thanks for the run!

Twins seem to be (Please Use More Appropriate Word) defensively. Gifted us at least two runs.
