Did anyone catch Gery on 1250 this morning? I realize its just Gery and I only caught the tail end of it but it sounded even crazier than normal. Sounded like they were talking about Embiid dropping over medical and Parker going #1? Also brought up that the Bucks were shopping Ersan, would listen on Henson, would give away Larry, and the Lasry told Gery that Hammond would have authority to find deals but the owners would have final say, etc. I'm assuming that Gery was speculating with his own spin on things just curious if anyone else heard the whole thing?

I only heard the end about the playoffs. I'll have to listen to the podcast during the Bill Michaels show since he only talks packers/brewers lol.

He also said he would trade the #2 pick for Westbrook. "In a heartbeat", were his exact words.

Ugh, between Gery's crazy rants and Mike And Chuck exclaiming how much that they don't want Embiid...no idea why I listened to it at all. Really wish we had somebody competent covering the Bucks.

I didn't listen to it, have to catch it later.

No idea why Sparky & Gery got together and decided we need to trade #2 for Westbrook. He wouldn't be happy going to worst team in the league. We wouldn't be built for future success. We would have our PG taking 25 shots a game because "He's the Man" and we would get ourselves to 34 wins next season and a 8th-9th seed and a 15 pick. No. Thanks.

Draft high this year and draft somewhat high next season.

Gary Ellerson said to Sparky about trading #2 "You and your Saveourbucks guys and them realgm guys, just making stuff up and talking crazy. I can't even anymore....I don't know".....sent him a tweet and told him that Sparky is on his own and RW is Marbury / Franchise esque. No chance I'm even thinking about trading #2 for Westbrook.

I know, Chuck even want as far as to say he prayed something comes up wrong in Embiid's medical reports. They seemed like children who weren't getting what they wanted at the mere thought of the Bucks drafting him. They had no idea that Lasry and Edens have final say on the pick, either. Wickett said there is team Parker and team Wiggins with maybe one Bucks fan who thinks they should draft Embiid. He sounds like a Twilight fangirl.

I forgot, also they talked about a possible rumor involving the Bucks sending one of their higher seconds to NY for something.

Yeah that really bugged me too. Why would anyone wish that? :nonono:

The Knicks want to buy a 2nd round pick. I can't see us giving either of the top 2 away for cash, Herb is gone.

If they don't want Embiid they should pray for nothing to be wrong with him so the Cavs take him. Chuck and especially Wickett suck a dong. Possibly more.

Wickett should stick to what he knows, like stylish fedoras and PBR binging.

I'm actually getting really sick of just about everybody on that station. They cover the Bucks the most, but even that lacks. I mean if the Packers or Brewers had new owners, a high draft pick etc, they would be talking about it all day everyday, but since it's the Bucks, we get a 15 minute segment on two of the three shows with not much else. I think it's utterly hilarious when Sparky says they should be the flagship for the Bucks. Yes, they have a post game show, but they could be doing so much more than they actually do with the Bucks. I can't wait for the days when the Bucks get legitimate coverage on a day to day basis. We get more coverage of what B.J. Raji ate for dinner or what dogs ass hank sniffed then we do Bucks news.

It's coming over the next year.

That said, bad Bucks talk on WSSP is better than no Bucks talk on WAUK.

I'm not so sure. I was only 16, but I vaguely remember being pissed at the lack of Bucks coverage in 2001 when we nearly made the finals.

I've moved almost exclusively to 920. They just supply a superior state-wide local product for me.

The addition of WOKY and Ted Davis to compete with WSSP will only help Bucks coverage. Instead of being able to be content, they will instead be competing for the same listeners. Local media will shift when more local listeners tastes shift. Thankfully Bucks will be in news cycle all summer long. A rarity.

Ted Davis is awesome but who listens to the radio from 2-4? I really only listen on the way to work and on the way home and I'd rather come here or to twitter for news than sift thru podcasts.

The whole 920am thing is going to need to grow on me. Nothing against Heller and Dawson, but they are Madison guys. NBA Ted worked soooo well on The Big Show where he got to be a complimentary player. And he meshed well with those particular guys.
