Somebody can say me something about some late first-rounder/second-rounder interesting big men (especially PFs)?
I'll freak out if Hinkie can manage to trade up from #10 to get Vonleh, but I realize that it's quite impossibile, since he's probably going to be picked in the Top 5.
So, there is a guy who great upside as a scorer like Vonleh or there is not? I think Vonleh would be the perfect pair to Noel, but maybe it's time to look for a substitute if we're going to pick some big men this year in the draft...

Gary Harris is arguably the smoothest SG in the draft but his lack of size completely negates that. How is he going to guard James Harden, and Klay Thompson who have almost 1/2 ft on him? If he was 6'6" he has the skills to go top 10 but at 6'2" no way.

Nick Johnson(Pac 12 Player of Year) is 6'3" but he can jump thru the roof and he has that special flare/toughness/desire about him. I really hope Hinkie can land him with one of those 7 picks.

You take whoever is left from Gordon,McDermott,Payne,Saric,James Young at 10 and grab Nick Johnson later. Nick Johnson/MCW would make a nice guard combo as N. Johnson can play the 1 or 2.

Yeah I'm confused about who was there and why. I suppose it was anyone considered top 15? Embiid looks significantly bigger than McDermott. Aaron Gordon is an ugly mo-fo. Wiggins has a TINY head.

If you think Wiggins has a tiny head, you should check out LaVine.

Harris is 6'2.5" without shoes. Harden is 1.5 inches taller, Thompson is 3.25 inches taller. Where in the world did you get "almost 1/2 foot"?

In terms standing reach, yeah. But could the one they just measured be a mistake? 8'0" is ridiculously low for someone his height. And his wingspan is pretty good at 6'7". And it says that he measured with a 8'3.5" standing reach back in 2012...

I still wouldn't draft Harris at 10, but just saying.

Harris is a midget. Wiggins is projected as a SG too. Wiggins' standing reach is 11 inches greater than Harris'.

I don't think we can just throw out Combine measurements. Harris is a nice little player but if he's done growing, let's please move on. He's 15 - 20 range and ONLY because he's 19 yrs old, IMO.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

That is what I was thinking. We discussed this a million times on here, but while less accurate, the NBA uses measurements with shoes. Harris at different camps measure 6'4 and 6'4.5, and somehow 6'6 at a few camps. Nevertheless, that is the height NBA players are listed at.

Garry Harris had the shortest (6'6.75)wingspan of every SG measured at the combine except Joe Harris. Next to last isn't "pretty good'. He had the shortest standing reach of any SG at the combine. Even shorter than Nick Johnson, who is (1) inch shorter than him. For all intents.. Gary Harris was the smallest SG at the combine.

Look how Wiggins is deferring leg space to Gordon and Embiid. Not an alpha male. Bust.

Lol.

Regarding the news that so many lottery picks are being shopped, I still believe the Suns make sense for Thad. Is there any way they would bite at #18 for him and a combination of seconds (granted it's not a lottery pick)?

I hate that Love is being shopped because so many teams are going to hold off until he's gone.

I say use Thad to try and move up from 10. LAL and Sac are both possibilities. Move up with Thad and than trade a combo of 2nds to get a late 1st.

Thad 10 and 32 to LAL for #7 or Thad 10 and 39 to Sac for 8. Than trade some 2nds to try and get a late 1st rounder around the 20-25 range
