The NBA announced its 2013-14 All-Defensive Teams on Monday:

1st Team
Joakim Noah
Paul George
Chris Paul
Serge Ibaka
Andre Iguodala

2nd Team
LeBron James
Patrick Beverley
Jimmy Butler
Kawhi Leonard
Roy Hibbert

Congradz Bev!

If only he's a little taller he'd make a great 3&D wing. Great find Morey regardless.

Rockets center Dwight Howard received 26 first-team votes and six votes for the second team. Shooting guard James Harden, who is not known for his defensive skills, received two second-team votes.

No Dwight...um...hope he comes back even better, healthier and more motivated next year. Uh, who voted for Harden??!

you know you're living in the end of times when someone puts in a defensive team vote for harden

you know you're living in the final hours of this world when james harden gets two defensive team votes. the 2nd vote is the emphasis on "yeah you read that right. we just wanted to give you a heads up. it's over."

impossible for dwight to get on the defensive team when his own team was mentally rtarded on defense
bev got on there by his rep. he was injured half the season, and overrated. but thats ok cuz his trade value gets a nice boost.

They are joke votes. It happens like every year. It is just the coaches trolling for lack of a better word.

But congrats to Bev. I pretty much assumed Westbrook was going to get 2nd team after CP3. It's a pretty big accomplishment since he's only been in the league for like a season and a half so it's not one of those cases where he got it just based off his prior reputation.

Congrats to Bev, he claps his hands a lot and that distracts the opponents. Impeccable technique.

Also, he defended himself from criticism this entire season. Even after all those blunders in the playoffs. That itself deserves an award.

The numbers are clear, Bev is a top defensive player in the NBA.

Great to see Bev get this kind of recognition!

Harden for DPOY
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
