ajaX82 Retires As A Moderator

Post#1 » by Howard Mass » Wed Jun 4, 2014 9:18 am

RealGM Detroit Pistons Users,

I am here to announce the retirement of a longtime Moderator.

ajaX82 has decided to step down so he has more time with his job and non-cyber life.

He still plans to be around though and the door will be open for him to return in the future.

ajax82 really helped build up this community and his leadership on our Detroit Forums has been huge over the years.

I wish him nothing but the best and hope he makes a Snakebites-like return one day.

For now, I want to thank ajax for his service to this community as a Moderator.

Please join me in doing so.

Thanks for everything ajax!
R.I.P. Dharam Raghubir (A.K.A. Magnumt)

That sound you hear is the pistons board starting it's descent into anarchy.

In two weeks it will look like the apocalyptic thunder dome version of Australia.

Thanks for keeping us in line Ajax

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've really enjoyed posting here over the years and hope it continues. Recently I have had some pretty major life changes (all positive!) that have made posting much more difficult. In the last year I've gotten a new job, moved to a new city, gotten used to a long commute and gotten engaged. I guess it's time to be an adult or something?

Needless to say, I haven't been around as much. This move has been in the works for months but with Pistons #1 back (I can't call you Snakebites, just like Cowology will never be Hunter), now can finally be the time; You are in good hands. I look forward to (hopefully) finding more time to watch and post in the future, and to watching a not-terrible team, but for a while I will probably be M.I.A.

Keep it classy Pistons board, it's been real

Hopefully you'll stick around, old friend.

He and I became mods within a year of each other way back in the day, and unlike me, he stayed in the mod seat the entire time.

Will be an honor filling his shoes now. Best of luck with your life, and don't forget about the rest of us.
