James Harden was named All-NBA First team. Howard named to the Second Team.

Well, congradz Harden for making the All-NBA 1st team for the first time. But Dwight making the 2nd team is basically a slight with Noah named over him. Hope it gives him more motivation next season.

Olajuwon and Moses Malone only other two Rockets to ever be named 1st team All-NBA. TMac named to 2nd team once as a Rocket and 3rd team twice. Yao named to 2nd team twice and 3rd team three times. Ralph Sampson named to 2nd team once. Clyde Drexler (as a Rocket) made the 3rd team once. Harden made the 3rd team last season.

Wow, the Rockets have only had 8 players who made the All-NBA teams in franchise history. Olajuwon, Malone, Sampson, Yao, McGrady, Drexler, Harden and Howard.

Congrats to James but hopefully he doesn't let it get to his head.

they snubbed dwight. there wasnt a huge gap of talent after dwight but he was still by default the best center in the regular season

since its a regular season award, james deserved the first team. after all this time pple still dont know that its a regular season award

Noah was DPOY and averaged 5.5 assists this season meanwhile Dwight averaged his fewest blocks per game since his second season. I would take Noah too.

Why is Dwight Howard trending on twitter with rumors of messing with 15 y/o girls?

Can someone please clear up this news on Dwight? If he goes to jail then we are back to being 42-39

dwight was a near 20/10, could've got 2bpg if he wanted. dwight brings more than stats.

old man nene torched noah in the playoffs, avg 18ppg vs the bulls, then 11ppg and 39fg% vs the pacers

as i said there's no big talent gap after dwight. i'd take dwight anyday. if his team wasnt so young and stupid his stats would be better

How ironic it's a congratulations thread. So we're talking possibly going to jail kinda thing......smh......I guess we don't need to be trading Asik afterall.

cant count the playoffs. If the playoffs counted I don't think Harden would've gotten any votes.

until noah has a big impact on the offensive end, he wont be better than dwight. 5asts are nice but he's not gonna carry a team like dwight

Noah was the team without Rose and Deng.

Well, Noah's team does a much better coach and a worse record.

he's not "the" team. he is a rim protector, i never implied he wasnt but did he carry them offensively? no, he only avg'd 12ppg on the worst scoring team in the league, and they're in the east. he wouldnt even a 3rd option for a contender. we got parsons who's a better option than noah.

Offense is only half the game so if Harden can get 1st team solely on his offense then Noah can get it solely on his defense. Dwight had a good season but I don't think he was as dominant as he had been in previous years. Noah's 5.5 apg is great for a center. Maybe if we had Noah then Harden would have averaged 30ppg and Parsons 20ppg.

Chandler Parsons during his senior season at Florida was 4th in scoring on his team with 11.3ppg and he won SEC Player of the Year that season. So scoring is not everything.

w/e, dwight wasnt the beast player he usually is (until the playoffs). i still say dwight got snubbed

for a contender, i'd rather have dwight than noah. dwight would be a 2nd option and anchor the team defensively. noah's career high in apg is mostly cause of rose being injured all but 10 games. even in the games he played he struggled avg 4apg

I think that there is no problem putting Noah ahead of Dwight this past season with the way that guy performed.
