Fortunate to miss Wacha and Wainwright, while also missing Dickey and Happ's starts, love all the pitching matchups, will be thrilled to get 2 of 3, push for the sweep because obviously the Jays never lose. Let's go, if they can get it, 40-24 overall and 20-3 over the last 23 with a sweep.

I've never liked the Cardinals and their propensity for success much, especially since they won a World Series in 2006 with only 83 wins. Please win.

What with today's performance, I think we need to rescind the Jenkins for Cabrera offer. Detroit will have to add more now... perhaps Porcello.

I love the Cardinals, but not in this series. Two of three would be nice; a sweep would be nicer.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

We don't need Miguel Cabrera.

Just wanted to see what it would feel like to type that.

Hope we get some huge crowds for this series. Really nervous/excited about Stroman's second start. St. Louis doesn't have a very good offence so it will be another chance for him to show he's up here for good.

With the run we're on, anything less than four wins in this three-game series is a choke, IMO.

i remember posting about this 16 games stretch (OAK, TB, KC, DET, STL) being important. i was thinking maybe 10 -6 would be impressive. the jays are 11-2 so far.

Pretty sure the statement was made 'round about the time we were sweeping the Sox, A's, Rays and Tigers. 2 of 3 would be great, but we don't need nothin'.

The AL East-leading Blue Jays have won 19 of 23, including sweeps of defending champion Boston, AL West-leading Oakland and AL Central-leading Detroit.

This is not fiction. This really happened.

Oh no..the optimism...it's beginning to show. The gods have lifted us to new heights of hope and it would be the god forsaken Cardinals that would deal us the mighty blow. Please dear BABIP gods and 2014 Jays...be different!

wow.... how lucky can you get to miss Wainright and Wacha both...

Those guys are both machines and shut down pretty much everyone.... really like the pitching matchups in this series...

I wonder if Wainright and Wacha are thinking the same thing... "how lucky are we to be missing the Jays"
