Re: Hugo the Hornet
the dude playing hugo (who i assume is the same guy who did rufus), has to be exhausted. he has been going non-stop all day. UNLESS, we have multiple guys playing hugo today. hmmmm

The picture of Hugo with the Honeybees at the radio station immediately took me back to a younger time. Nostalgia is powerful. Exciting!

Re: Hugo the Hornet
Hugo looks good on merchandise. The actual mascot looks feminine, the fury outfit and the colors just outline that.
Rufus looked bad ass at least.

Rufus looked great...for a high-school or college team.

Zach Lowe @ZachLowe_NBA 35m
Mascot news: The Hornets have hired away a mascot from another NBA team to portray Hugo, who will be joyfully reborn this season.
i am confused. is this new info or just info that is 3 months late? if this is new, then what happened to the guy playing hugo for the last 3 months?

Im guessing that means we hired another teams mascot dude to be Hugo, i guess that dude who has been Hugo so far got a better job or decided he didn't want to be Hugo anymore

Re: Hugo the Hornet
Could also be that the person or people who've been in the suit thus far are just place holders. I guess any schmo is capable of throwing on the outfit to snap some offseason photos with children in Lowes' Parking Lots, hospitals and the like but maybe they needed someone with some acrobatic experience equipped to do time out stunts and such during games....SuperHugo anyone?
