I could have seen that the way things were going, but the last few games of the season Butler really saw his minutes reduced.. Don't even know if he played Game 6.. He left early and missed his exit interview.. Could there be some bad blood?

I think the OFFICIAL statement was he was sick and missed the first day and they forgot the second day...........

But the rumored breakup is bad, luckily I don't think we really cared to have him back.

I hope. Its sad, but I hope.

I don't think the guy is an amazing coach or anything, but he certainly does some things really well and some others poorly. I just don't know that there is a great solution out there.

Excellent point. Few coaches are true difference makers, and the ones who are generally A) Get paid a whole lot and want roster decision making or B) undiscovered until a team gives them their shot (i.e. Thibs). Thunder are not in the position to take a wild shot at an unknown quantity with the hope they'll be one of the diamonds in the rough, and I doubt Presti would be keen on spending a Stan Van Gundy-esque 5/35 + relinquish decision making to lure an established coach.

Brooks is adequate, and criticisms of him just deflect the focus away from the deterioration of the roster.
