Which is why Big Slam and I said from day 1 that you dont try to change the way someone shoots at this point, all you do is make minor tweeks and work on repetition. Of course it's gonna have a mental effect, this is also something I said would happen as I said I hoped this guy doesnt permanently ruin MKG, cause what happens if he gets traded away while shooting that broke jumper our coaches helped create and the next team he goes to doesnt have the time to develop him?
You cant tell a guy his shot form is bad and needs to be completely changed and then send him out to play and expect him to believe in the shot. On top of that the coaches tell him he wont play late in the games because his lack of shooting hurts his team. MKG has won his whole life and now you tell him he's not good enough? I say under the circumstances he had a good season. Imagine what he'd do if the coach just lets him play his game and wont isolate him out the offense, and bench him for any body they pull off the street who can shoot a set jumper that looks better than his form wise. Sorry, but I'm honestly disgusted with how we under utilized this guy. But he's got heart and he'll get right.
