I think I read that Watford has an invitation to the Spurs camp. I don't think he'd play ahead of Solomon Hill for us and I suspect they'll bring Rasual back too as he played well and was a veteran voice.

The irony lol. I bet in two to three years he will be a solid player under Pop.

Alex Kennedy had him in his latest mock draft. Would be a solid project pick. Though, i think Pacers will trade up in the 2nd in order to ensure themselves someone they really have an eye on... if there is a player like that in the draft.

As a fan im not too high on him. He will likely be one of those end of the bench 5th bigs. The team should look for a more talented guy with some steal potential or package it to get another young talent. Indy needs more young talent and athleticism on this team especially off the bench. Its funny that a couple years back that it seemed like everyone was board to get more vets; and now when you look at the team it looks like Outside of PG24, Lance and maybe Solomon Hill; there isnt much more growth potential. Lavoy Allen may have some growth/development potential but it isnt even guaranteed that he gets resigned. There needs to be some more young energy; hustle guys on this team.

The team needs more playmakers with experience to support George, West, and Stephenson.
They have to be able to run pick and roll and shoot plus 37% from three.
European leagues can provide cost effective experienced players.
Joe Ragland, Pietro Aradori, and Jeff Brooks would fit nicely.
Trevor Mbakwe and Ty Walker can add rebounding and athleticism to the front court.
The Spurs do an excellent job of finding just such role players.
David Moss and Marcus Cousin also.

Watford was in last year's draft class... right? I think SmashMouthRod was talking about inviting him to camp or something like that, not drafting him.
My bad, I thought he is in this year's draft. Did not really realized that he was already a senior last year.
Haven't seen any film on him playing overseas basketball but when he was at college, he indeed looked like someone who will not make any roster spot in the NBA. All he did was shoot, and I don't think he can defend on an NBA level. And I don't see him being someone like Chris Copeland either.
