I hate it but I think Harris might win this one. Such an overrated player.

Wouldn't mind Rodney Hood. He'd be better than Harris, but I'm not quite as down on Harris as some of you guys.

I'm voting Nurkic here. I think he'd be a great backup center for us to develop to replace Al in a few years. Not the biggest need, but talent wins out.

My Board
1. Joel Embiid
2. Andrew Wiggins
3. Jabari Parker
4. Dante Exum
5. Noah Vonleh
6. Julius Randle
7. Nik Stauskas
8. Doug McDermott
9. Dario Saric
10. Marcus Smart
11. Aaron Gordon
12. Zach LaVine
13. Jusuf Nurkic
14. Gary Harris

Harris will sit on the bench behind Hendo and maybe even Neal. Payne is everything we wanted Zeller to be and more.

Agree that Payne is next. He is rising fast in mocks after workouts (now tracking into the late lottery). Coaches are confirming his skill and talent level. You cannot develop size, and Payne couples a prototype PF body with quality skills, notably rebounding and shooting.

If we do get Afflalo in a deal that swaps 9 for 12, Payne is my target.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I agree with your last statement. Payne still seems a bit lumbering to me on the court, but I really like everything he brings to the table -- good shooter, good creator, good size/athleticism. With a little better conditioning, he could be special.

Heck, if we can get Afflalo and 12, I might start to consider TJ Warren at 12. I don't think I've ever seen a player in college bball with his kind of scoring instincts and touch around the rim.

He better be careful not to re-aggravate that gimpy groin of his.
