All these rumors about Kyrie wanting to leave are a media creation. Just a day or two ago, he angrily ranted about how wrong the rumors are on Twitter and indirectly called out Windhorst as someone who doesn't know what he's talking about. There's never been a concrete indication to support these rumors, just weak speculation and a few very weak 'a source told me' BS. I'm siding with Kyrie, I think this is all pretty much nonsense.

I know it sucks to hear this about your star player, you guys went thru it with Lebron once and now maybe Kyrie. I hope it isn't true, but the writing is on the wall IMO.

The title should read "Will Kyrie sign a max contract with the Cavs?"

If I were Cleveland FO, i'd offer him the extension, see what if he accepts or declines and that'll give the FO the knowledge it needs to make the best decision possible for the organization. If he declines this offseason, then trade him for the most you can squeeze out of any team. Because he's basically saying he's out as soon as he's a UFA. And you'll get nothing from him just like you got nothing from the LBJ years. I read an article on here saying the FO doesn't want to look weak in case he declines so they won't offer. That's the stupidest thing they could do right there. Kyrie will get the league going **** over him. You could create a bidding war. I honestly think Dion Waiters is being held back as a PG because of KI's role on the team. I think Waiters is pretty damn solid actually. I doubt LBJ comes back. He's living in year round hot weather. Cold weather cities are at a major disadvantage to that type of stuff. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Guys at this point in time with a big change coming for the team in coaching and possibly roster, why not wait. He's not going anyplace. It makes us look more attractive to FA's with him on paper.

If you throw in Oladipo and Vuc I'd consider it.

I have faith he will sign. I don't see him as being un-faithful to his team.

No. 4 and Harris probably get it done.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
