Bledsoe?? Or draft picks...surely you aren't referring to Goran. :banghead:

Either or.. I would keep Bledsoe. Dragic is by far a better leader than Bledsoe but Goran is not bringing free agents here on his own. Sad to say, we have to shop Dragic. I just don't see them keeping both long term. Can't lose both. Tough decision.

Also, Green, Morris twins, and Bledsoe will bring players here.

JDLAW probably knows the answer to that. It's frustrating that teams have to wait a certain period to negotiate with their own players or with incoming players (Love).

I would hate to trade Dragic or lose him period. He plays with a lot of heart, and makes this offense go. I also feel like he is an undervalued player, and the Suns wouldn't get much in return for him.

He is the most valuable piece in this team and they would get lots in return for him. He is also at his max value on this contract. I believe he could easily walk away next season without compensation to the Suns. If they can sign him to an extension now--fine. Or if he gives the Suns assurances about resigning here- great. But if not then trading him is a reasonable choice.

Why would he walk? We clearly learned from our mistake of trading him the last time, and he signed with us even after that.

We either extend him, or sign him to the same contract as Bledsoe, but maybe a year less of a contract, or a little less money in that final year, because of age at that time.

But trading him seems not very smart. You don't trade your best player unless you know for sure they will walk away.

I believe he can go ahead and declined his player option simultaneously with the execution of a contract extension with the Suns. If that's the case, I'd bet McD extends him this next season.

Absolutely no reason to let him walk or trade him with one year left on his deal - both of those are stupid decisions.

There's absolutely no chance Dragic will sign an extension because "The salary in the first year of a veteran extension may be any amount up to 107.5% of the player's previous salary".

My dream scenerio is trading #14 and #18 to #8 or #9 and draft Aaron Gordon. Then sign with Pau Gasol.

Eric Bledsoe
Goran Dragic
PJ Tucker
Aaron Gordon
Pau Gasol

Sixth man: Gerald Gr33n

This squad brings:

- Spacing ( both of our big guys can shoot from mid range )
- Frontcourt Defense ( im talking about Gordon ofc )
- Low post scoring ( Pau Gasol)
- Veteran experience ( Gasol again)
- Youth and dynamism ( Gordon can play high-paced game with his athleticsm)

Pau isn't starter material anymore imo. Sure he stat padded on the Lakers but I don't think he can any longer contribute in a starting role to a playoff team.

PJ Tucker confirmed that Memphis is interested in him.
