in short, lydon is a skilled 4 with some stretch capability.
morgan's a raw tweener F, athlete with a good motor.

That article i posted says kiddo could be a top 10 pick in this draft. looking at the prospects available and the depth in it you think that's far-fetched?

most definitely not. he is a prototype. pretty much the ideal as far as what i'd look for in a SF.

this current draft class? hard to say given what the others have shown at a higher level, but he has the tools surpass them all. just in terms of physical tools, he has no shortcomings that i can think of and his skill level is coming along quickly.

im guessing if Parker and Wiggins are the top 2. After that Hood, McBuckets, Warren, Early, Grant, AG, and PupDog Robinson. Jaylen should be able to slide in there somewhere after Bari and Drew im guessing with maybe Buckets, Hood, and AG ahead/behind depending on what a scout might value.

for me personally? nothing really. He's bigger than Wiggins, plays with more aggression, and has a better handle. more explosive and better defender than Bari. Appears to have a better jumper standstill and off the bounce than Wiggs. Doesn't have Bari's post game but at his size and his age could definitely add it to his game. Not much seperating them from what i've seen thus far and given the reports of Jaylen v older pros in Europe and against older prospects in the states, in addition to his current frame and strength I don't think the adjustment to the league would be that drastic for him outside of speed and increasing his IQ which would grow as he does. Haven't read anything about him being a headcase or uncoachable. So those are also greenlights if true.

I was speaking from the perspective of Bari and Wiggins being consensus top 2 at that position long before this past season even started and seemingly regardless of what's been shown won't be moved from those spots.

the more i think about jaylen's game, the advancement he's made skill-wise and what he has physically, the more i think i have to start tweaking some of my HS projections and lists. he has massive potential.

Thinking better pro prospect than Josh Jackson right now or not ready to say that just yet?

nope. jackson's ball skill, playmaking, potential to stay on the ball and being a 6'8 SG give him the edge.
josh needs to start downing those protein shakes though.

fair enough

has Jaylen, barring a dropoff his senior year or a bad frosh year in college made himself THE prize possession of the 2016 draft with potential one and dones with Zimm, Newman, Rabb, and Ben Sim, potential returnees in Trey Lyles and D'Angelo Russell, then Svi after 2 years under Self?

Isn't Pappagiannis available around that time too or is that Josh's class?

rabb and brown. those would be my top 2 who have the highest long term potential from that class.
papagiannis is 2015 too. i expect him to gradually climb as he gets acclimated.
'97 is a pretty good int'l class, but who knows when those guys would declare.

in his class there's Ben Simmons.

Josh Jackson isn't as big but much smoother and more athletic.

Harry Giles can make a case as well.

I would agree with Simmons. I see a lot of star potential in him. Bragg, however, really reminds me of Melo in terms of how easy he makes the game look.

yeah that's the comparison I see for him all the time. Have you seen Jackson though? I'd say he has Bragg beat all-around. 6'8" 190lbs long, athletic, plays at his own pace, form on his jumper is low and somebody might tweak it later on put it drops consistently, creates off the bounce, gets to the rack, creates for others and is pretty solid defensively. check him out if you haven't already.
