Washington Nationals are back in first place where they belong. Going for the sweep today but having won 3/4 I'm already happy. Just gotta take that momentum into St. Louis this weekend, a place we have historically struggled.

Ryan Zimmerman making some nice plays in LF too. Guy can't throw a lick anymore but he's still got a great glove regardless of where he is on the field.

Blue Jays offence has cooled down, and we're back to our losing ways.

Huge series against the O's, then we got the Yanks. Could be our time to really seperate ourselves from them, but since we're the Jays, we'll lose both series.

Braves are lucky to be only one game back in the division, we suck lately.

I hope y'all win, I'll support any team that has a chance of winning that division over the Yankees and Red Sox

Lots of ebbs and flows to the season. Nats were awful early with so many guys out, while Braves were rolling. Now it's flip flopped. But it could easily turn back around.

We lost the 4th of our 4 game series yesterday. No surprise, we had our #6 starter, a guy who should be in AAA, going up against Tim Hudson who OWNS us. But I'm happy with 3/4.

Gotta take 2/3 from the Cardinals. Busch Stadium has been a haunted house but we have good pitching matchups and avoid Wainwright.

looks like the Braves are looking to trade a starter for a good left handed bullpen arm. Much needed, I'll be ecstatic if we trade Floyd or Harang for a good lefty: both of those players only have one year contracts. (I'd think we'll trade Floyd since he has a chance to make $8 mil total with bonuses this year, while Harang is signed into a $1 million contract).

The Yanks signed Heath Bell to a minor league deal today and I got all sad inside.

Braves stink up the joint against the lowly Rockies but beat the Angels sounds about right.

Congrats J. Roll.

edit:

Keep it up G-men. last week the MLB Network kept saying the Dodgers needed to watch out cuz u had 20 of ur next 25 at home and were gonna run away with the division.

lolz, lost 5 of their 1st 6 in the home stand.

Dodgers just need to be within striking distance by the all star break. but we'll gladly take the lead by then if you're willing to give it.

The Braves / Angels game went nearly 5 hours. It was entertaining for sure but the LAA pulled it out in 13.

The Braves have been stringing hits together lately, that is a sight for sore eyes.

We can't beat the Cardinals. it's a joke. Something like 2-13 against them the last 15(don't know the exact record but it's around that).

Gotta pound the Astros before a huge 4 game series this weekend against the Braves.

RIP Tony Gwynn. My thoughts go out to Tony Gwynn Jr. and the rest of the Gwynn family

I had no idea he was in such bad shape because of the mouth cancer, but apparently he was up and down over the last couple of years.

Tony Gwynn is one of those legends who people never really think about because his numbers weren't very flashy and because the market he played in wasn't very big. I'm not sure we'll see another hitter like him in a long time.

I saw on ESPN that he had 297 3-hit games and ONE 3-strikeout game. That's unreal.

I love the pieces Kurkjian does for the guys that pass, though the circumstances are awful, obviously.

The patience and ability to pick pitches that he had were uncanny.

Andrelton Simmons is the best defensive player in baseball. If you say otherwise, I'll fight you
