Weird opening match. Looking forward to tomorrow

Exageration to prove a point. I'm sorry that i wasn't aware that you wouldn't be cappable of understanding that.

Every game should become a flop fest because "its ok and its part of the game"

I understood I was making my own point.

Look, regardless, I HATE flopping man, I just meant that because every superstar/star/almost everyone dives in the top leagues in football, it's easier to criticize the refs. I wasn't making any grand point beyond that, re read my post.

Sorry if I sounded harsh, just seemed like an odd comparison to make.

The officiating was bad, but yiu cant say Croatia deserved to win either. That goal they had was a n own goal and th two of Brazils goals were their own doing.

They still have a chance to advance as long as Mexico gets put down

literally no one said croatia deserved to win, the game shouldve been a draw, and like someone said it looked headed towards that until the penalty.

Oscar was definitely Man Of The Match, despite Neymar's two goals. The goal keeper should've saved that first and third goal. Also, that penalty was awful officiating, and can't blame the keeper on that. Brazil played better as the game progressed, but this match should've stayed 1-1.

Well, that's a bit of a leap. It was a 2-goal win. That's football.

Hate ticky tack calls in the box like that. Can't reward guys for going down easy - just encourages more of the same. Let them bleed, dammit! Brazil dicey at the back. Croatia keeper weak. On to tmw.

Heck Brazil could still have won. It ruins the reputation of the players, the sport, the team. If i was a brazilian player or fan i would be pissed because i would believe they could still win without that.

You would have a better chance of being struck by lighting than Neymar being sent off.

Oscar's flick over the defenders to the right side and subsequent cross to David Luiz (I think it was) right after the penalty was a great play but Luiz struck it with the wrong side if his head. Croatian goalie was terrible. Slow reactions and no extension when he tried to dive. His only good save was when he guessed on the penalty and if he just made the likely guess on the 3rd goal that wouldn't have been a goal.

If I'm playing Croatia, I'm firing from all angles. Cat just doesn't have it.

Putting stats up of possession and shots aren't very evolved comments. Sometimes a strategy of a team doesn't circle around that.

Ex: This season A. Madrid could have played 100 games vs Barça and in all of those games barça would have 60% plus possession and double their shots. I would argue that A. Madrid would win more than 50 games.

this.

Next team that plays them should start taking longshots.
The way the goalkeeper played, Mexico will most likely advance. Especially now that the Croats are down a game.

The main merit of oscar shot was that nobody was expecting him to shot it from there in that way. He won at least half a second to the keeper in reaction time because of that.
