A Sixers' fan's impression of your team
I wrote a long blog today about the Cavs in a series I'm doing and talked about their issues, what lineups work best for them, very statistics based. There are a bunch of disses towards Cleveland as a city in there but I plan to do that for every team so please don't take it too personally.

If you consider this self promoting, I'll take out some quotes from the post itself, but I intend this to really just be a discussion on if you believe this to be fairly accurate or not.

You say Cleveland needs to upgrade at SG, but then you recommend Hayward at the 3 despite the fact that he technically logged a lowered eFG% than Waiters last season. This is a bush-league blog post. Oh, and they are the Pyramids of Giza.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

If we are being honest, the Cavs already have two really good SGs, it's just that one of them is playing out of position.

The reason Waiters shouldn't start has nothing to do with eFG%. Waiters just doesn't fit well with Kyrie. He is best suited for a 6th man role. Simple as that. And thanks for the compliments man.

76ers fan obsessed with Waiters. Big surprise.

Lmao. It's an NBA post about the Cavs. I mention Waiters and evaluate him. I have no real interest in trading for him.

Very astute point of view you have, I am surprised you did not attempt to cherry pick more stats to give it some weight.

If you look at his splits, Dion actually plays considerably better as a starter. Here are his post all star break numbers in only his second year: FG% .460, 3P% .370, TS% .535, PPG 19.3.

I wrote this article from absolutely no place of bias. I picked stats based on what I know about the Cavs analytically and tried to find the most interesting stats I could. I'm sorry if this is too negative for you, but there is no bias here.

You have to factor in 8 out of those 30 or so games was without Kyrie which I mention in the article.

This is unbelievable lol. I have no bias. Why do you think I do? I was hardly negative about the Cavs at all...

I guess I'm curious as to what you think an "upgrade" over Waiters looks like.

A better fit. A 3&D player. Waiters is fine but not with Kyrie.

Today Waiters is fine, yesterday he was a bust, or so you stated.

He was very clearly a bust before he started looking pretty good after all star break. I'm still not ready to say that he won't just bust.

Re: A Sixers' fan's impression of your team
In general, it's generally not a good idea to write a very opinionated article about a team that you do not primarily follow, post it on that team's forum, and then argue with those fans who know much more about that team than you when they disagree with your opinions.
Truthfully, I didnt read your article, and dont intend to, but my job is to keep the peace. These types of threads usually dont turn out to positively, but I'll let it stay for now and hope that you guys can police yourselves.

I get that but I'm being attacked as a hater and biased when all I did was write a stat-based article.

Calling that drub a stat-based article is the equivalent of me saying you are an absolutely terrible poster based on a handful of your comments on these forums.
