Coaching refresh and not just free agency the priority

Post#1 » by WadeInTheWater » Fri Jun 13, 2014 3:52 am

Erik Spoelstra is a great guy and seems like the model professional that everyone wants working for them, however when you are outmatched you are simply, outmatched. The only guy Spo could outcoach on the big stage was Scott Brooks and that is not hard seeing as he does a worse job than anyone with great players (how he can't figure the KD/Westbrook scenario is pathetic).

Spo has fallen back on way too many occasions on his superstars and not the fundamentals of the game to get the job done. Now going the superstar route is great and leads to fantastic storylines and moments however it makes you fall harder 10 times as bad when it doesn't go right.

There is a guy sitting on that commentary panel who i would personally take in a heartbeat after his mentally unstable organisation fired him for no reason: Mark Jackson. That's just one name but it's the caliber that is required to KEEP the HEAT at the top and not let them DROP to levels that other potential dynasties have.

Yes free agency is key this summer but personally as proven by the great, great Popovich coaching is just as important.

Spoelstra will be here for a long time, for better or for worse.

I've never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly. Really hoping to run into him at a game one day. I won't hesitate.
