you know how Erick Sermon said on that one Cypress Hill song that he's "doper than Pete Rock remixes"? I love EPMD but I can't exactly agree with that statement, haha.

When we first started the topic for getting to know other members better somebody mentioned this album by Del and Tame One. I remember being surprised that someone besides me on here has heard it. Now you have reminded me of that feeling.

I also know of plenty of people who have no idea about it but when I tell them to give it a spin then they wind up loving it. I was at a record store one day and they were playing this song and I was like "who is that?" and I ask the clerk and bought the album that day and have loved it every since. I can listen to the whole album without skipping a track and you cant say that often in this day and age of music.

Lamar, I was wondering if you have a favorite Black Milk CD, I was listening to Glitches in the Break
(no youtube vid of the intro alone but here's the EP:
I know you previously posted G feat Guilty Simpson. I like this tune from No Poison, but probs like the EP best

I also liked the EP better than No Poison.

My favorite definitely is Tronic. Give the Drummer Sum, Losing Out, The Matrix... He really nailed that signature sound of his on that album, that combination of electronic sounds and hard hitting drums. (yep, I'm bad at explaining music)

I should give "Popular Demand" a listen though.

posted earlier in the thread about Horace Silver who wrote the famous Song For My Father that Steely Dan used for the intro to Ricki Don't Lose That Number. Silver passed away today, age 85.
