You had me until Korver. I agree with getting a center, maybe Tavares or McGary in the 2nd. The rest of the 2nds can be spent on shooters/role players who can come off the bench.

To me it's pointless to wast draft picks on someone like Korver when we are trying to develop a young core, not win right away. With young players you have growing pains, but ultimately a very bright future.

I like Markel Brown too. I think he could be utilized as more than just a shooter though. Grab CJ Wilcox to be our Kyle Korver.

Yeah, I think we could see a lot of guys in this draft stick on our roster. With this draft being as loaded as it is, I think we come away with at least 4-5 players that make the team.

+1. While measurables are "sexy", sometimes a guy can just flat out play basketball. I look at Randle and say if he can develop into a Zach Randolph (High Hopes) or David Lee (More Realistic) type of player, I'd be ecstatic. I think if were picking at 10, you go with Randle.

Randle if I am not mistaken, has a shorter reach than Randolph..but he seems to have a better attitude.

He's not directly comparing Randle to Zach Randolph or David Lee. He's saying that like them....he just plays basketball.

I love how easy people make it out to just get "Kyle Korver" or 3/D swings in the 2nd round.
Dudes one of the best shooters in the league and could go down as one of the better pure shooters.

I agree its easier to find specialists later in the draft, but legit 40+% 3PT shooters are very valuable commodities in todays game.

Guess I'll just have to disagree with the pro-Randle crowd and leave it until draft night. A Wiggins/Randle draft would set this franchise back several years, but I don't see that scenario happening. When Hinkie shows no interest in this guy on draft night I'll be the first to say I told you so

While we never really have a good assessment without the interviews and workouts, Randle at 10 would appear to be a great value. Wiggins and Randle is a tremendous talent boost...can't see it happening.

Id love to hear who you think are the top 3 realistic prospects at 10 are....who are leaps and bounds above Randle as a prospect.

Right down the line on DX mock: Stauskas, Gordon, Saric, Nurkic, Harris, Ennis, Payne, Hairston, Anderson. I'd say the majority of those guys will be available at our pick

Please explain how drafting Wiggins/Randel would set this franchise back several years! Or is this just a ploy to get attention. Because if it is you have it.

Yeah, and none of them are as good of a prospect as Randle. Gordon only.

I don't know how you can view Randle as a weak prospect. He's a tad undersized but he PLAYS big. He isn't afraid of contact. Loves playing with his back to the basket (rare these days). He has some serious potential and helped lead his team to an NCAA Final game. If we are lucky enough for him to be available at 10 you snag him 10 times out of 10. Hinkie is still aquiring assets. I love Stauskas but believe me if Randle is there at 10 along with Stauskas, I'm taking Randle.
