He has no lift left he's becoming grounded which isn't good for a 6'4 SG.

This is one of the many reasons this team is no longer the same team. Wade has got to take a huge paycut he is going to hamstring this team if he doesn't. But then again why would he take a paycut since there's no way he's going to get the money he'll make the next 2 years ever again playing basketball. It's pretty clear that Wade's decline is what killed this version of the team (and I say that like its over because this version of the time is not likely winning another championship, they need a facelift).

Wade is the reason we can't play the flying around the court defense effectively, especially since Lebron also is getting tired from taking the whole offensive load because Wade is declining and Lebron must conserve energy on defense. The whole situation is unfortunate because while this team had great success it could have been even better with a still healthy Wade.

I hate to say this but from an objective standpoint you almost wish you hadn't used the amnesty on Mike Miller and instead saved it for Wade if he truly is done (which basically may be the case if he continues to decline in health/can't stay on the court enough/plays this poor of defense and struggles at times on offense).

No answers. Absolutely no answers, and you can see it on the players faces. The last 2 games haven't even come close to being competitive. The Spurs may as well have been playing Weber State. We look like we don't even belong in the same league as the Spurs, let alone the same court. And talent sure as hell isn't the issue.

I live in a different timezone and overslept. The minute I woke up, turned on the TV, I was shocked again to see the Heat down by 20. I thought it was Game 3 being re-aired but no, it was **** Game 4. :nonono:

I swear I was just looking at my computer screen for like 5 minutes straight and I was just zoned out. This feeling of emptiness sucks.

He was actually solid on that end, had plenty of good rotations that most of the rest of the team didn't even have.

Spo rode the Big 3 coattails and win two rings despite his stupidity and lack of coaching ability.
It shows...that effer needs to go!

Change line up and strategy to reinvigorate team

Post#451 » by BRIGGS » Fri Jun 13, 2014 12:13 pm

Simple this team is not scoring enough points--scoring more will help the D as well.

As a coach this is what I would do i.e Miami

This team has been brutal--they cant score and they use too much burn on D with no results.

This is what I would do. I would move LBJ to PG removing Chalmers for now inserting Mike Beasley at starting F for offensive punch out of the gate
give more minutes to Cole and Haslem on unit 2 for defense(relying more on Cole to also get me some points and make some plays for others as well.
off the bench
C-Bosh-32 minutes
F Beasley-32 minutes
G Wade-28 minutes
G Ray Allen-24 minutes
G Lebron James-38-40 minutes

final four
C-Andersen-18 minutes
F-Haslem-18 minutes
F Lewis-20 minutes
G Cole-20 minutes

If there is NOT a big change in attack--not a chance to win Using Beasley and moving LBK to PG are the only big changes u can make.

The team needs a shake up and more points

Give me a break. Spo will start Haslem on Sunday night and that will be the biggest change in line up and strategy you can expect. Beasley will still be in a sportscoat, and Chalmers will still be starting. And then after they lose I'll be right here going in on this f*ckin dummy for his stubborness throughout this season. They really thought they would trot out the same team as last year, minus a significant piece, and win. Unbelievable.

You're right they look gassed out there, they need to insert some youth. I would like to see a Bosh/Beasley combo at C/PF. Also could use a change at point, Chalmers isn't cutting it right now.

Lmao solid

Dude is done

Don't blame him for not being able to defend

Too slow, if he went faster he would hurt himself

I blame Spo for playing f him

And Grover for being the bulls double agent
Stop being so disrespectful.

How is Grover a double agent. He would never **** up his professional career like that.

THe problem is that there is nothing that can be done. Grover tried his best but Wade's knees are unfixable.

Wade's Defense

He's playing defense like he's James Harden, I've been watching his defense since Game 1 and it's been bad to say the least. Hopefully, to extend his career he gets work in the post and develops a 3 point shot.

There is no hope for Wade. You can't extend a career on knees like his. He needs to seriously consider medical retirement. It's THAT bad. I wonder if Doctors will tell him that he's endangering his chances of walking post-retirement if he keeps trying to push those knees with medication.

If Wade doesn't take a paycut so this team can get more depth, then Riley needs to trade him. I think Wade could probably still be the first option for some team, just because his main attribute right now is that he can score, and I think if he was the primary ball handler he could still put up 27 ppg on some team. But he absolutely can't play on this team any more.

Chris Bosh is a better match with lebron's skill set--and if we had a 3 and D player like Danny Green instead of Wade at the 2, with a team that was legit 12 deep--I think we'd be a tougher team and wouldn't have to rely so heavily on Lebron to work miracles.

Just so depressing.

Wade's days as a superstar in the league are over, man. He isn't going to put up 27ppg anywhere. Maybe in his dreams, but that's it.

He had to take gigantic chunks of the season off just so he could play 1-2 months of good playoff basketball and he can't even give that now. His knees are shot. He isn't going to be putting up 27 ppg anywhere. Look at him out there vs Spurs. He is half jogging everywhere. His body is telling him that he's done.

I have to give some blame to Spoelstra too. This intense hounding defense that we play, shortens the careers of players.
