I wonder if the Jazz would bite on Larry + Knight + Middleton for #5 & bad contract.

Would imagine not considering they have Favors and Kanter.

Well if we can get #8+McLemore for Larry+Knight, then maybe 8+31 or 36?

The Oden medical comparisons being used to not draft Embiid are a bit crazy. Oden was a walking miracle when leading into the draft he had huge red flags including having one leg an inch shorter then the other. His school and college career had been one injury after the other. And reports out of Portland over the years after was that the GM was told to draft Durant instead. But the GM at the time didn't listen and the rest is history.

Embiids body is nothing like Odens. Yes he has a back scare but from what I've read the rest of his body is fine. If his back checks out then you draft him if not then you draft the guy you think will be the best long term prospect. Using Oden's body as a reason not to draft Embiid is a poor comparison.

The rebuilding Jazz aren't trading a top five pick without a future first, high-quality starter or young prospect. I know some are against trading future firsts, but I'd do 2016 first top three protected and Brandon Knight for No. 5.

Gives us Sanders, Exum, No. 2, 2015 First and Giannis as our core to build around. Makes sense for the Jazz as they know Milwaukee will likely be quite young still in 2016 since we're rebuilding and add Knight, which adds shooting in a season they might lose perimeter scoring from Hayward. Maybe add 31 to sweeten it. I think that's a competitive offer.

Sanders would be interesting but like previously stated, they have Kanter/Favors. Pretty sure I'd hand over Sanders if it meant we could grab Exum and I'm very high on Larry still.

Kings get Sanders, Wolters

Jazz get #8, Brandon Knight, Henson

Bucks get #5

I'd probably add a couple seconds or Middleton too to get Exum/Smart

I would give up anything on the roster including future 1sts to go into next season with a core of Embiid, Giannis and Exum...

I'd love the Cav's to pass on Embiid in the hope they can bluff a fall to number three for them. He won't get to pick #3.

I think the biggest news of the day is Kyler's article on the Magic being more interested in Smart than Exum and his follow up tweet about the Jazz and #5 being open for business if Exum falls to them. Do we have enough to get the #5 pick?

Im one of the few who likes Smart over exum. Smart IMO is one of only a few players in this draft that you know exacty what you will get from them and his weaknesses will only begin to improve. Some of you look at him as Baron Davis, I see Dwyane Wade with better PG skills. I would be ecstatic if we landed Smart and whomever from the big 3

Especially when this board criticizes smart for lack of pg.skills yet says nothing bout exum and his measly 4.6 assists per 36,which is what this board uses a lot when ripping or ass kissing some1 they love.
This guy sounds like a glorified sg.
Smart will give u 6 to 7 assists per 36 yet 90% of this board bashes him.
You want a guy as your pg to average 4 dimes a game keep knight

You are aware assists are much harder to come by in places not in America, yes?

If Exum had better teammates he would've easily averaged 7-8 assists a game. So bashing him for having 4 is just stupid. Go watch the highlights of him setting up his teammates with great looks and them continually missing bunny shots.

Im not bashing exum, but I do believe Smart will be the better pg.

I understand the fascination with exum, he has alot of potential. But I think you guys minimize how explosive Smart is. how many above the rim finishes he had this season. But more than anything he is a physical defensive minded pg and to me that is the way to start our rebuild....but not at 2, but if we did trade back into top 10

Henson and two future firsts for 5. Or Henson and Knight and two future firsts. Throw in a pick swap. Whatever. If Exum is there, and the pick is for sale, you have to land him.

There is little I wouldn't trade if we could come out of this draft with a core of Embiid / Exum / Giannis.

We probably would have to pick up the #7 or #8 first to have a chance at it though.

After that, especially if we were willing to include a protected future first (very risky!), maybe we'd have a shot.

I'd go unprotected. Giannis/Exum/Embiid or Wiggins is worth the risk of Draft Clap.

I think Kyler is almost useless as a basketball/talent analyst but he is pretty plugged in and he isn't plugged into any team more than he is the Magic. I'd give the rumors real credence.

The question is whether we can outbid other teams for the #5 pick, although I suspect in the end, the Jazz will stay put and take Exum themselves.

If the rumored Sanders/Knight for 8/Mclemore went through, maybe Orlando would do 4 for 8, Henson, and Middleton.

Exum
Mclemore
Giannis
Embiid
Wolters

Fill in the rest with young fliers and second rounders. Do your damnedest to trade Ersan and Zaza for late firsts or early second rounders. I'm sure were stuck with mayo.
Do it for Chuck
