Mclemore
Giannis
Embiid
Wolters

Fill in the rest with young fliers and second rounders. Do your damnedest to trade Ersan and Zaza for late firsts or early second rounders. I'm sure were stuck with mayo.

That would be an ugly roster to me. Mclemore at the 3 spot? Id rather have smart but could live with exum, but we would NEED to keep Ersan and wolters comes off the bench

Mclemore would be a 2. That's not a depth chart, just listing our core. Though Wolters at center would be interesting.

Overall roster doesn't matter at this point. What matters is finding core pieces. We could start a minimum salary guy at the 4 for all I care if we ran Exum+Giannis+Embiid/Parker/Wiggins.

Dream offseason

Sanders/Knight for 8/Mclemore

Henson/Middleton/8 for 4

Zaza/48 for Perkins/21

Draft
#2 Embiid
#4 Exum
#21 Payne
#31 Tavares
#36 Thanasis

Embiid/Tavares/Miroslav
Ersan/Payne
Giannis/Thanasis/Delfino
McLemore/Hellmans
Exum/Wolters

Buyout Perkins and force feed Ersan early to get his value up for a mid season trade.

Yes I know it's pipe dream 2kesque.

It's absolutely hilarious how many articles there are about Wiggins supposedly preferring Philly just based on one comment by Chad Ford.

If we end up with Embiid or Parker, and it depends who's all on the board, but if we got a 12-20 type pick I would think long and hard about going ahead and buying the LaVine lottery ticket.

I don't think he's ready to contribute, and he likely will need to be seriously coached up because I'm not sure he has the mental disposition I like, but his tools are just tantalizing.

Knight/Henson for 8. No interest in McLemore if it means Sanders. Don't really like McLemore all that much, even. Flip him if he comes with.
8, 2015 First, 2017 First (if need be) for 5. If we get McLemore, hopefully we can include him and not a second future pick.

Wiggins or Embiid, Exum, Giannis, Wolters, Middleton, Sanders, Miroslav, Bogdanovic at 31, Inglis at 36.

Explore all trades involving Zaza and Arsen. Enter next off-season able to offer Kawhi a max contract.

I still like Mclemore as a break out candidate this season whether its with us or Sacramento. Beautiful form on that jumper and great athlete.

Bucks should make a "promise" to Wiggins at 2 and have him shut down his workouts for Philly. That would force Philly to reveal if they really want him or not. Then the Bucks could try and bargain with them.

The question is whether we can outbid other teams for the #5 pick, although I suspect in the end, the Jazz will stay put and take Exum themselves.

They are already on record saying that Burke is their PG and Exum is on record that he wants to play PG. They could take him against his wishes and play him at SG but then he is fighting Burke for minutes. Meanwhile they've decided that Favors is a Center and could really use a stretch four since the Kanter/Favors line up isn't working. So if they can move from 5 to 8 and get Vonleh and a player or pick etc they come out ahead. I don't think it should cost us an additional 1st to move 3 spots. Middleton and/or 31 should do it. Exum/McLemore/Giannis/Parker/Henson is a hell of a nice young core.

They could still take Parker if that is who they want.

And how do you think that would make us look? Giving a prospect a promise at #2, so he shuts down all his other workouts, only for us to pas over him at #2.

As I stated before, I would prefer to have smart and have a lineup of:
Smart
mcclemore
Giannis
Ersan
Embid

This lineup has a really good inside game, smart can penetrate and kick or pick and pop to ersan, and Embid and kick out to Ben or dish to Giannis Cutting to the basket.

If our first pick is Parker or wiggins it still remains the same but more of an uptempo style team.

BTW I love your avatar, you gotta hook me up with it 8-)

Probably about as good as prospects not wanting to workout for certain teams.

I dont think we can threat or promise any if the big three. they know they are going top 3 so a promise to pick them doesnt have much value.

It would completely shut us out to any of that agent's or agency's clients or make the cost prohibitively high. No workouts for prospects, no free agent visits, just demands and no counters.
