It is ridiculous to assume we could get anything in return for smoove other than another bad contract.

You talking about that big clusterf*ck trade with CHA, MIL, and GSW? Jackson was just part of those teams moving around bad contracts and 1st rounders in a weak draft. Charlotte moved up 10 picks but also had to take on Maggette's terrible contract instead of Jackson's slightly less terrible contract.

I remember the Kings got the worst of that move--taking on Salmons long and bad contract without shedding a bad one of their own, and also moving down a few spots.

And then they got the #9 pick for Maggette.

For #9, BG, Knight & Middleton we got Smith & Jennings and $10+ mil in cap space

What is it gonna take for us to win that trade?

Lowry? Hayward? Stephenson? A couple of role players? Second round playoff series?

BG was finished and while we like Middleton & Knight they aren't exactly rare talents...and #9 could be anything

IF SVG hits a home run this off-season we could look pretty good...despite the depressing seasons
