Colombians and Brazilians are most equipped to deal with the weather down there and the Colombian faithful are going to be rocking the place. They will have one of the most well represented fan bases along with Brazil, Mexico and Argentina and the Colombians will be rowdy with their first cup in 16 years. Calling it now that if they can avoid Brazil I think Colombia can reach the semis.

They will also have the hottest fans and the Colombian women will remind us all of Colombia's importance to the World Cup :D

How are they going to avoid Brazil if they win the group easily?

Whoops meant advance from the group easily. If they face Brazil in the round of 16 I don't think they can win

Fun match. Fun atmosphere. Red Bull Arena is a great soccer-specific stadium. It was a loud 11,000 in there with the vast majority being Greeks.

I have hope that Kone will start now.

I also have hope that Gekas won't start after the 4 big chances he pissed away.

Pretty awesome to get loud cheers from the local Brazilians during our training session:

Also, some of our guys (Tachtsidis, Manolas) are pretty good at basketball:

It's possible that Sokratis Papastathopoulos will not be available against Colombia. That would mean a Moras-Manolas CB duo.

Never watched Colombia play but looking at their roster they aren't bad.

Japan vs Cote D'Ivoire is a toss-up. I would like to say Japan since they have a great attacking playstyle.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.

According to the poll above this might be the most unknown group of the bunch.

Cant even believe Gekas made your NT roster.
Of course he is still able to dominate the SüperLig. Better statistics than in the prime of his career in the Bundesliga - from a time when the Bundesliga was still much weaker than it is today.

You can't argue that he is a pretty good finisher. Give him the ball in the penalty area and he scores. Doesn't offer anything else, though.

Gekas is worshiped in Turkey. Not joking. Dude has a knack for keeping small teams out of relegation.

It's looking like Gekas will start - despite the botched chances against Bolivia - against Colombia on Saturday because Mitroglou doesn't appear to be fit enough to start.

Ivory Coast and Japan will be a tie 1-1

Japan will probably win 5-0. Maybe 8-0 if they want.
