Candreva best player on the pitch. Pirlo & Sterling deserve plaudits too. We said Rooney would get in the way of a young, exciting team and he literally did taking the ball from Barkley. LOL!

Glen Johnson can stay in Manaus for all I care lol. Keep him there.

The effect on that ball was sick though.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

As more of an observer than a fan in the opening games that's seen players exhausted 10 minutes out of the intermission, how the hell does FIFA expect the players to play in Qatar?

I hear Antarctica is the early favorite for 2026, followed by the moon.

We had some great buildup but lacked in the final delivery most of the time. Lotta poor crosses in the first half. Other than that very pleased with what I saw, De Sciglio's return will be huge as cheillini can go to his real position

I'm finding I don't dislike Italy as much as I thought I would. I like a lot of their younger players (Verratti, Balo, Immobile, De Sciglio), and Pirlo's always class. Aside from 3 or 4 faces, I don't see much of the winning side from 2006.
