Who will be your Finals MVP right now?

I'm going with Kawhi.

Kawhi seems like the most deserving player at this point. Duncan and Parker have both played solid but not on Leonard's level. Kawhi has hit HUGE shots and really has been the best player on both teams.

I was thinking Parker, but haven't looked at a Single box score....

they've done co-mvp before, is it possible for a team mvp? or is that too radical?

ESPN had an article out about Finals MVP, and all 3 guys agreed it's Kawhi, with Duncan next in line. I created another poll on GB and Kawhi ranks first with Duncan second. I think there's a really big chance that Kawhi becomes our Finals MVP.

I know it's 3-1 and most of you guys feel confident in Spurs winning, but I think it's still too early to talk about this. Coming back from 3-1 isn't the same as coming back from 3-0. And as far as the best player on the Spurs is concerned, yes, it's probably Kawhi. Although I think LeBron was the best player in this series. It's just that Spurs were the much better TEAM. And that kind of overshadows how good LeBron was.

LeBron's numbers:

Game 1: 25 points, 9-17, 3 steals
Game 2: 35 points, 14-22, 10 rebounds
Game 3: 22 points, 9-14, 7 assists, 5 steals
Game 4: 28 points, 10-17, 4-8 3 pt. shots

PER of 31.4 on the finals. 28/8/4 on 70 TS%

Let's not forget Parker's defense on Chalmers? That's not unimportant.

Too early. But Kawhi's gotta be the favorite at the moment.

Agreed, no need to talk about this until its done. All the Spurs have done to this point is set themselves up to be made fun of for another summer unless they get another win. They are saying all the right things and I think they are on a mission to finish it Sunday, but its not done yet.

Way too many assumptions about it being over. The Spurs lost 4 in a row to OKC just two years ago. Last year they lost the last two elimination games. If anything, they have shown they can choke away any lead.

I expect Wade to have at least one good game, so it is now or never for him.

I just want to see the Spurs fight to the very last second, and I will be happy. If they will just continue to fight, and not get down after a loss, there should be no way that they can drop three in a row.

Having said all of that, I would give a very slight edge to Duncan over Leonard right now. The next game could tilt it either way. Diaw should get an award for his outstanding support play (but not FMVP), and Parker isn't even in the conversation. Mills has been probably almost as good.

Totally agree. It seems all the big sports personalities have all ready penciled us in as the champs, but this series is far from over.

I really find it weird that Mario is actually getting blamed.

Heat is all about the big three. Blame should be on Wade and Bosh not doing enough before it got the role players.

Stopping Chalmers was never supposed to be hard. It's like stopping Derek Fisher.

I would not give it any individual and give it to the TEAM instead.
