Arroyo should probably not return to Ecuador for a decade or two.

Then he just stood there with his hands on his head while the counterattack formed.

Hilariously similar to the way Switzerland lost to Turkey at Euro 2008.

You need to play a pass for someone to be in offside. Since Xhaka didnt touch the last pass was from Rodriguez. And when Rodriguez passed Drmic was onside.

Interference is the considered the same level of act as a pass. When Xhaka intefered, Drmic was offside.

Former ref Urs Meyer said in German tv it is a legit goal. I dont know why he would lie.

Yeah they're done now. Would've been in nice shape as I would assume they would beat Honduras but now to get points from France also will be tough

Great way to end the game:

Aside from the ending I thought that was a pretty boring game tbh. Thought both teams lacked organization to the point that they'd just run up the field and then have no outlet passes so they ended up giving the ball up. Expected more from the Swiss but a stunning finish nonetheless.

For the last time, it was offside. Go to page 17.

Glad the Swiss pulled it off. Figured this match would be really tough as they worked through their nerves against a tough Ecuadorean side now hopefully they build on this and replace djourou.

koscielny's moment of madness vs ukraine cost him a starting spot sheesh lol , good team they've put out though.

ESPNFC: #FRA team vs. #HON: Lloris, Debuchy, Varane, Sakho, Evra, Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi, Griezmann, Benzema, Valbuena.
