NBA Futures
Kind of odd that the TWolves, Nuggets and Knicks have better odds next year than us, and we have the same odds as the Lakers, Cavs and Celtics.

How are the Spurs not ahead of Miami? This is no longer, 'any team with LeBron has to be #1'.
They were dismantled and if I were a betting man, I'd choose the Spurs to win over Miami next season.

I agree that Miami looks like they will be regressing fairly soon. I think the main thing that gets them the benefit of the doubt is that it is much easier to get out of the east, meaning if the Spurs and Heat were the only two teams with odds, the Spurs would be favored, but since their odds of getting out of the west are probably 55-60%, whereas the Heat's of getting out of the east are more like 90%, just skews the odds in their favor overall.

That's a great point. Didn't think of that.

Re: NBA Futures
there's also the idea that Duncan retires after this season, which would definitely skew the odds a bit.
