I love the way Germans play, hope they win it all. And I've never seen a game in which Müller played and didn't have something to do when there was a goal.

USA or Ghana with a serious shot to go through if Portugal have an insurmountable Goal difference.

Lol not at all, at least I don't, but Pepe being out for the US game and Portugal getting smacked today gives me 1% of hope that wasn't there before.

their first two goals came from australia's defense's individual mistakes. it wasn't a dominating performance you'd expect against a team that might have the worst defense in the world cup.

Well, they didn't dominate, I agree. They overachieved, yes. I don't recall a single team that got the ball under control in the box in this tournament more than Chile, and that's a good thing, that doesn't happen in the WC except against teams pedestrian teams like North Korea or Thaiti. They weren't great, but they had tons of possession in the final third on the first half.

13 deliveries to penalty area, not a bad performance but it is not earth shattering.

The penalty was questionable and that was by no means a red card. Still though thank you for getting rid of Pepe when we play Portugal.

he just gave his team bad juju, bad things coming to germany's way. just look at what happened to palacios.

That is Müller he is a level above concepts like Karma, close to Chuck Norris.

No one else would scream like that to Psycho-Pepe.

Nah. They look exactly the same as they did after 2012. Our Midfielders are older and slower. Ive never entered the hype about this team its ronaldo + 10

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Emre is despicable on a whole other level. No amount of diving can match blatant racism.

I think ronaldo is too much for Ghana to handle. But this team is round of 16 exit, round of 8 tops.

No defense to speak of in the midfield.

you actually want him in the game in a tourney in the hope that he will do something like this, imo.

I think it's way too early to say that. They were always likely to lose this match.

I'm not quite Alexi Lalas level brash but I'm not gonna say US has zero chance, we've pulled off upsets before :usa:
