The penalty was not questionable at all and could have been a red card.

And how can you even debate Pepe's red card? That is a red everytime, pure stupidity from Pepe. Engaging Muller and headbutting him, even if it was not much force behind it is ALWAYS RED.

I wouldn't bet the farm on it but of course we have a chance

(cue a 6-0 butt pummeling by Ghana)

Ghana isn't the same team they were four years ago. We definitely have a chance. Portugal aint looking to hot either.

What language are they speaking when guys from different teams talk to each other? I've wondered this a few times.

red lol Come on bro. Pepes red was based on his reputation not because of the actual play. At worst it was a yellow.

Ronaldo had the fewest touches on the field in the first half. That's amazing.

I'm not a heat fan but I've got to say, the hate that guy is getting this year is crazy. So many people happy to see him fail. Rumours have him leaving the heat- maybe he's in toronto next year ;)

Not gonna lie, sports teams have been kind to me this year.

How did you come about supporting that random mix of teams, if you don't mind me asking? In Toronto, no less?

I generally just support Toronto teams- leafs, raptors, bills?, TFC, but my family is from Portugal, moved to Madrid when I was 7. Don't really have any connection to San Antonio or LA but wen I started proper watching basketball David Robinson was my favorite player and then Tim Duncan got drafted. As for the kings, been a fan since Doighty got drafted. Push comes to shove is probably support the Raptors and Leafs over those two teams. Got fam in Pittsburgh that always bring me gear when they visit.

Muller screamed in German "What do you want? What do you want?" to Pepe's face after the headbutt.

Well, they didn't dominate, I agree. They overachieved, yes. I don't recall a single team that got the ball under control in the box in this tournament more than Chile, and that's a good thing, that doesn't happen in the WC except against teams pedestrian teams like North Korea or Thaiti. They weren't great, but they had tons of possession in the final third on the first half.

13 deliveries to penalty area, not a bad performance but it is not earth shattering.

How many teams better?

three. four other teams have one less.

You obviously are clueless about soccer, it is a red, always. There is no room for interpretation.

Ref can't even give a yellow for that, it's a straight red, always.

being Portuguese I'm of the opinion that some very soft decisions have gone against us- how many shirt pulls like that have gone unpunished in this tournament? And calling what Pepe did a headbutt is laughable but I get that he has a reputation and I'm not surprised he was sent off.

I think English is the lingua franca, after Brazil/Croatia, a Croatian player was complaining that the Japanese ref couldn't even speak English

lol Pepe, such a dumbass. At least he got his fullretard moment out of the way early, against us and in a game his team were getting walked over. I'll still take it, especially cause with what jogi's done to our backline we'll concede at least one.

How can you give a yellow for a headbutt? Either it's a headbutt and a red, or you don't believe it's a headbutt and it's nothing.

that was a red, just like pogba's should've been red. it is not impact of malicious act, it is the intent that matters.

I don't know if thats good or bad for her and hummels. Actually almost all soccer players shave their legs because to be easier to massage and clean injuries

Usually English, although if players share a third language it can be that like the next Portuguese nt RB Soares is a German speaker and so would be using that in this game, like Poldi and Klose with polish when we play the poles.
