BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
Thank you birdman. Sucks he was injured in the finals.

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
He's certainly appreciated. What a blessing it was to pick him up midseason a year ago. He was instrumental in our title run last season, and it sucks that he was obviously playing with an injury since the Indiana series. Hope he comes back next season. Age is a number. He's like a 10-15 year old garage kept vehicle with not so much mileage. Birdman still has a lot to offer.

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
I think he opted out right? He played a huge roll. I honestly wish he was on that 2011 squad. His ability alone would have helped the heat win the title that year. I still remember clearly Joel Anthony's inability on the offensive end in that series.

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
Couldn't he be back? It seems like he wants more money. A team can over pay him though I wouldn't be surprised
Anyway if he truly does leave for good, he was a great addition and a pleasure to have on this team. He really helped us last year and sometimes this year he covered up some holes
I'll miss him if he goes to another team
Him and miller were the dynamic white boy crew....

If Lebron wants him back, he'll be back. Assuming we have his early bird rights, which we should.

Let's wait for the Appreciation Thread for Birdman later. If anything, its going to be about Battier.

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
It's being reported the Bird will opt out which is a smart move for Bird. We have his Bird Right and isnt leaving anything on the table that he can't get back. I would be surprised if Riley told him to opt out and see what happens. Either way for him and the team it was smart; free's up more money to sign some, allows Bird freedom if Big 3 go else where and if all things work out, we use the space to sign someone and then use Bird rights to resign him at a decent deal.
Nothing to see here as of now.

He's staying in Miami guys sheesh, the man is getting married soon... He most likely opt out either to take a pay cut, have a lil raise, or see what the Big 3 will do

Pay Back is a B*tch

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
Chris is definitely our best rim protector during 2013-4. He wasn't his best in the finals, but he was beaten up pretty bad in the playoff series.
You can see his numbers compare favorably (granted with fewer minutes) with Jermaine O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Al Horford, and Dwight Howard. Obviously he is giving us a bargain deal. We need to get him back, if possible.

Re: BIRDMAN APPRECIATION THREAD
It's crazy when you think about, EVERYONE outside of LeBron played poorly for their standards. I said it before but we can win any series(including this series) when one of the combination happens:
LeBron + Wade dominate, role players hit shots and Bosh hits key shots here and there
LeBron + Bosh dominate, role players hit shots and Wade hits key shots here and there
LeBron + role players can't miss from 3(Allen, Cole, Lewis, Battier, Rio, Miller), Wade and Bosh shots here and there.
This series for the most part in terms of production was LEBRON + nothing.
It's also been rare to see everyone clicking on all cylinders. One game I'll never forget is when the big 3 scored 30 and 10 which made history against Houston.
That said, I'm sure birdman will come back. He's perfect as a energy guy off the bench, we were using him as our primary big(outside Bosh) which was too much for him to handle at his age.
