Actually it would help improve the game. Defenses will actually have to pay attention to whats going on behind them and scores would be much higher. Games will be 10x more entertaining if players were allowed to get open without some arbitrary rule.

Please just stop on this subject.

It's a stupid idea, and it's not happening.

Move on. Thanks.

Yeah Ghana's tournament is basically over if they don't fix this thing?

I was surprised to learn that both of those men weren't starting today, despite the minor injuries.

I mean the USA is their worst opponent in this group, but not weak enough to hold anything back, I would think. That Ghana coach is looking increasingly suspect.

lol, it'd be a pain to watch, the game would be only crosses, long passes and 6'8 strikers with no skill or whatsoever. The through ball IS this sport.

Once upon a time there wasn't off side: teams played 2-man midfields.

The offside rule is more important than the "who scores more goals win" rule.

I don't want it to happen, but if we want to save legs for Portugal, park the damn bus.

I wonder if Ghanaians will realize they're too short to keep playing for headers.

Some dude on twitter just posted a photo of the pitch saying he'd streak in the 89th minute since he got RTed enough.
