Maybe Stan told them he wants Anderson + 1st rd pick or no deal and that's why they are being so aggressive trying to get one.

Monroe for Anderson alone seems lopsided but Anderson/#1 pick would be fair

Pel fan here I take it as this our GM is on his last year and wants to save his job by adding on to this team to ensure the playoffs. He want's a pick to add bench depth or to draft a sf which is why we want a pick, he probably call the Pistons to see if the would take Gordon for Monroe plus some fillers like Rivers. Our other option is Blatche a post player with a outside shot and a decent post defender he would also allow AD and Ryno to play big minutes together only demanding 25 minutes a game. I don't see us going after Monroe aggressively and I pretty sure the Pistons camp leaked this to drive up the competition because our organization doesn't leak **** not even reports of our team know whats going on half the time. Our Gm also said he doen't want a player to take touches away from AD I think it more of a "Hey bruh you want Gordon he can shot 3's and no one else on your team can"

If one option of saving my job depended upon signing Aundray Blatche to be a 25 MPG big man, I'd start looking in the job want ads. It's the equivalent of signing Brandon Jennings to save your job.

A guy that can give you 11/6 in 22 mins as a 6th option is not bad Jenning is bad when he's your 1st option.

If you guys offered Monroe an outrageous contract, we'll probably end up matching. But if we didn't match, you guys would have to come off Evans and Anderson for starters. Injury prone Eric Gordon for Monroe isn't going to happen. And just like D.Sho said, you guys would be foolish to go after Blatche. That dude sucks man.

Yeah, pretty much only way NOP gets Monroe is for either Holiday or Evans. It's not like we have to get rid of a 24 year old center... Gordon is laughable and Anderson alone won't do it. As much as I don't think Monroe is a fit here, he is a valuable asset.
