I personally think it would be stupid at this point (or in the Bucks' GM's time of declaration, about 2 weeks ago) to flat out say who you want. Even if you know for sure if you can get that player, you could be missing out on another opportunity via trade (if in case you'd like a player like Kyrie who you maybe might be able to trade your #2 pick for).

Yeah no one, even the number one pick, will say for sure who they want because it weakens potential trade negotiations. Oh you really want Jabari Utah? Give us ALL YOUR LOOT! Or whatever. That's why teams smokescreen the high heaven.

"Gee... we might not even take Exum at 4, we might take Smart or Vonleh, why would the Bucks take him at 2? Gosh."

So who knows how the draft will even go. The only thing I'm 100% sure of is that Parker and Wiggins will go in the top 4. After that who knows. Exum could go anywhere from 2 to 5, Embiid could go anywhere to 1 to 5 depending on his health reports. This draft is going to be fun :)

Here, here.. Good points.

Totally agree. This Draft will definitely be fun to watch. I'm also curious about when Randle will land after the foot news. We'll just have to see..

I wish we had the player interviews after workout like the Celtics and Jazz do. Bobcats too. We're so secretive lol.

Cool thanks for posting these videos, I havent seen them before. In the second video I saw a lot of footage against the USA so I went and checked Exum's stats against them. Im sure his U17 stats have been posted before but he played the US twice and scored 17 & 21 on solid efficiency.

i don't get how anyone can question Dante being a PG or not. every time he has the ball, he's aware of how the defense reacts to him, he knows where his guys are, and if he draws defenders then he'll find the open man, or use the open man for a fake to get himself a clear shot.

well, if you watch the draftexpress video on him, his PG skills in general are listed as a weakness.

He definitely has his weaknesses but I don't think PG skills is one of them from the game footage I've seen. Maybe the videos on youtube are the exception???

Yeah, I don't see him as a pure point guard, but it think he is definitely qualified enough at this stage to think he could be a good playmaking guard who handles most of the point guard duties. He has played a total of 600 minutes in tournaments since he was 17 and has held a solid Assists per 40 of 5.0 with an A/T Ratio of 1.6. If he improves his shooting and left hand, I can see him really blossoming into an elite playmaker in the league.

I think Australia and Canada are the next two countries up to challenge the US in international basketball. Exum and Ben Simmons are going be a formidable 1 2 punch. Plus they got Patty mills (lead the last olympics in scoring) and Dellavedova, not to mention some size in Baynes for the spurs to put next too Simmmons. Exums size he could probably get away playing the 3 on that lineup.

Then Canada has of course Wiggins and some nice pieces to fit around him. Should be exciting because the USA will be in transition after the 2016 olympics and Australia and Canada should just be coming into their prime. It's good for us to get knocked off every once in awhile to give us motivation plus its better for basketball when other countries are good.

ha sorry those videos of Exum passing it to Simmons got me on a tangent.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

you are reading too much into it.

it says his bbiq and creating offense are his strengths and that he is turnover prone.

the one i saw said "struggles to execute simple play", loose with handle and misses open teammates at times.

Still, i trust Henny in his scouting. He has shown himself to turn over every stone

eh, however in the same video it also says he has great bbiq and makes extrea passes and sees the floor.

In any case, these things are much more correctable, whereas smart will never have exum's speed off the dribble.
